i've had this tv for a year now. when it's working, it is a very enjoyable experience as far as the visual quality, but the functionality is just downright terrible. i bought the soundbar that goes with the monito and it has gone from working with the hdmi to only working through bluetooth to switching between the two to not connecting until i manually do it etc etc etc. often the tv will turn on very dim and only reset to brighter if you turn it off and turn on again. it will also have trouble recognizing devices that you frequently plug into it. the lag time for the menu screens is also extremely frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv to use in my dorm. It is a great tv, great quality, great sound. I would assume that it is easy to set up normally, however I live on campus at a university. Depending on the type of WiFi that the university has, it could make connecting the tv to WiFi very difficult or impossible. In my own case, I cannot connect my tv to my university WiFi, but instead, have been using it by connecting my tv to my PlayStation, and have been using streaming services and playing games through the PlayStation.

So I like the picture the size and profile and the remote. Don't like to cheesy brand emblem on the front. I was upset to find out I couldn't get the CBC app and while mirroring from my phone is a work around. I'd rather just click on the app. But overall I have all Samsung TVs and for the price It serves the purpose well.

Sound quality is OK, however, I use a soundbar on nearly all my flat panel TVs. The colors are rich and vibrant for being a basement TV with minimal natural light. I wish the black were a bit better as they tend to get washed out and blurry.

The size is perfect for the room we have and the quality considering the price and other TVs in its category blows everyone away. I would buy this tv 10/10 times again. We were never a Samsung family before but we are now and will be in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of Samsumg products from cell phone, speakers and TV's i really the quality and picture, sounds and navigation. I still have my 55 inch tv which i bought 2014 and still working pretty well! love it!

Our 55" Toshiba gave out so we decided to upgrade to a 70". I compared between Samsung, LG and Sony. The Samsung was the winner based on reviews and the instant savings available with the purchase. The TV looks great and has good sound. I do have a Bose surround system installed which makes it excellent for movies. Everything works as advertised including connectivity. The built in apps work great and it works perfect with my Amazon Alexa. For the price, features & warranty (3 years), the Samsung is a great choice. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are retired and watch TV any evening we are not with friends, usually 5-6 days a week. The very first thing we noticed is the brilliant color that brings the picture alive for us. I can't stress enough how beautiful the pictures are; people, buildings and most of all nature are beautifully vibrant Secondly, I need to use closed caption and on most TVs I have trouble with this feature. The closed captions on this TV are perfectly visible and have never interfered with the picture. The are not sometimes this color and this size or sometimes that color and size. I have actually stopped watching amok shows because of colors or sizing that are not visible against the background or are too small. Given our age and experience with electronics, we are not at all intuitive with things like the remote. However, one of our grandsons divided the lessons into two parts and after we were accustomed to using it we feel like geniuses. It is so easy to operate and we learned so quickly.
