This Product Is My Favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this new Samsung TV as a Christmas gift for my partner & I & I absolutely love it. It was so easy to sign into all the streaming services, I can easily listen to music, & I can also game as much as I want. I never bought a Samsung before this but I will stick with it now! I also can control my TV with my cellphone through an app! Im proud of my tv lol

Excellent Quality

I inherited this TV from my parents; very pleased with the picture quality and Smart TV capabilities (Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney +, and more. The TV easy to setup (with help from my daughter lol) and I added my Bose surround sound. Would recommend it to others

Very User Friendly

I own two Samsung smart TVs and am looking to buy another. We have had one for 3 years. We want to upgrade to a larger TV. We stream only but we appreciate the channels that Samsung TV has when we don't want to view from our apps.the picture quality is great, the sound is excellent. We also mirror our phones to the TV and there is never an issue.

Love our new tv... minus one thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing missing with our new tv is voice activated remote. We hate having to type everything out in YouTube or Netflix when we want to find something. The volume could be a little higher. Sound at is needed. It takes so long. Other than that the picture quality is great and so are the smart tv features.

Amazing picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our TV to stream shows, play video games and watch music videos! The TV was so easy and simple to set up and the remote is easy to navigate through all our apps. We really love the size and picture quality of this TV.

Samsung 82”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is much brighter and even clearer than our 4K Vizio. It comes with Samsung TV. Car shows for me and cooking shows for my wife. Apparently there around 100 channels. This was a surprise after we set it up but has made us want all Samsung TVs going forward.

4k, 55", Samsung at a good price!

replacing my 10 year old samsung 55" led 1080p tv that was in my bedroom. that tv rocked, nothing wrong with it, passing it down to the kids so they can game. i wanted to take advantage of the 4k content. the bad: the remote control. seriously! it's 2020 and you kept the same remote from 15 years ago! no voice control, same old school remote! i'd pay an extra $30 on this tv for a better remote. yes, you have an app, but it wants me to have my location to always on, i don't think so!

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was boxed well and was easy to set up. It has an excellent picture. The remote is easy to use, but could be designed a little more ergonomically for the controls that are used the most. For example, the DVR buttons (fast forward, rewind, pause, etc.) could be larger and located in an easier to find area of the remote than the very bottom. And the direct tune number buttons at the top of the remote are sometimes a little non-responsive. Otherwise, I really like this TV and all of its features.

Lasted exactly 1 year then died

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several Samsung TVs and generally they are pretty good. This unit was lightly used and the screen went out at almost exactly 1 year of use. The sound still works so it is like the good old days of staring at a radio.

reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador

Hi FloridaManWithNoTV, We are sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your TU7000 TV. Samsung prides itself on high-quality products and a great customer experience. Please know we are here to help you. If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, it's entirely possible it could be your external device and not your TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue: 1. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After reconnecting the external device, could you turn it off and back on? 3. Test the HDMI cable. Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 4. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting to a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week.
