My husband and I are newly retired and decided that this Gazebo would be our first handyman project to begin our retirement with. The Gazebo instructions ALONG with the app worked very well. We were able to put the Gazebo together in about three days. We only needed help on the fourth day, when we installed the roof panels onto the Gazebo rafters. We were very impressed with how sturdy and strong the structure is. We had looked at other gazebo kits and most of them do not have wooden rafters. We think that this Gazebo Kit is top of the line and highly recommend the purchase of this kit, you will be thrilled!!!

I liked that the 6 boxes fit into a pickup truck and that nothing was damaged because everything was packaged well. It took two old guys (myself and my brother-in-law) 3 days to put it together but a couple younger guys could have done it in a day and a half. The measurements provided by Backyard were correct and it fit perfect on my new deck. We have got several compliments about this gazebo.

We installed this towards the end of the season so we did not hook up the electric or the lights we purchased. There wasn't a lot of opportunity to use the gazebo before the weather turned cold but we were very pleased with the brief time we did get to use it. We had it installed by a local service and there is a small leak coming through the roof which is probably more of an installation issue than a product issue. Hopefully it's an easy fix. We are looking forward to enjoying the shade it will provide on our deck. It looks great and is very attractive.

I bought this a surprise for my wife a few months ago. She was looking at gazebos in stores and always wanted one. I saw this gazebo and never saw anything like it before! The size, sturdiness, and with outlet! So i purchased it along with professional builder plan to have it built for her as well. She was so surprised when she came home and it was already built (only took two installers a few hours). She couldn’t believe how beautiful it looked, she told me that she has never seen anything like this in stores. Let me give you the most honest feedback…This gazebo exceeded all mine as well as her expectations! We have hosted a few family gathering and got do many compliments on it. I even referred a couple of family members to the website to purchase one because they loved it so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cordova 14×12 gazebo has completely changed the look and appeal of our backyard. Yes, there were a few warped boards but they pretty much straightened out once we tightened down the brackets. It took all of three days to assemble, don't try it alone! I recommend using the instructional video vs the hardcopy version. I also recommend applying oil based sealant for an extra layer of protection. It's been up for just a couple of months so time will tell how it stands up to Texas extreme weather conditions, but looks great for now. Note - don't forget to go back and tighten the screws/bolts that the instructions say to hand tighten at first!

We bought it in September to allow us to add shade or protection to extend the usage of our new patio for the fall and the future seasons. We added roll down shades and curtains which allowed our furniture to be protected from an Idaho Winter. It also allowed us to heat with a patio heater which made it easier for us to dry off after getting out of our hot tub without tracking water into the house. I used this gazebo to enjoy the football season on the patio in the comfort of the enclosed gazebo. We are looking forward to barbecue season that is right around the corner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our gazebo for about 5 months and put it by our pool for shade in the summer. It was fantastic. Made it tolerable to enjoy the pool during the day in July and August. We used the Ilea Dignitet tension curtain wire and hung sheer curtains for some privacy. We hired a contractor to put it together because we just didn’t have the time. The instructions are 99 pages long! It ended up costing us just as much as the gazebo for assembly but we still think it was worth it and the value was good. It is a gorgeous gazebo that’s held up to some strong storms. In the off season we’ve put furniture in the middle of it and it does offer some protection although things will get wet in a big Texas thunderstorm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well built product and the directions are very detailed with all parts labeled. All of the metal roofing is protected by plastic film to reduce scratches during shipping. There are 5 boxes of parts which took me a weekend to assemble by myself with the exception of lifting the roof up. I used different anchors in my concrete to fasten instead of the screws that came with the kit. I also did not put the metal roof trim over the top of the roof panels like instructed, I put it under the roof panel which is more like a drip edge. The reason I did this was to avoid leaves, sticks, and acorns from getting stuck between the roof and the roof trim. The trim did not have to be cut to install this was, I will include a picture.

Love my gazebo (totally transformed my space). A few pieces of wood came warped and the company sent new ones right away. They are open on the weekends which is really nice. I would recommend putting doing the roof slightly different than the instructions....the instructions say the grooves should go on top of the border at the bottom (that made the wood wet so I put the border on the bottom and no water touches the wood when it rains).
