I like everything about this dutch oven. Ideal for cooking so many things. I use mine for deep frying quite a bit and it works great.

It will hold a great deal of soup, stew, or chili and will be good when canning season gets here, but it is heavy.

There's a chip on the top edge that was there before the white was applied, the under coat. The Red enamel is a pretty color. Every time I look at it, the chip is what I see. Very poor Quality control.

I love the pot but received the wrong color. I ordered matte black but received gray ombre. It is nice and heavy and well made but would have loved the matte black.

I opened the package and took the lid out just lifting the lid chipped it . When washing it I lightly hit the side of my sink and it chipped a lot. Hopefully returning it!
