It will hold a great deal of soup, stew, or chili and will be good when canning season gets here, but it is heavy.

It is beautiful and it is very smooth meaning it has no imperfections or rough edges. The price was amazing. It cleans up very good.

I ordered three of them two had dings baked in the ceramic! One the color of the bottom and top didn't match. I'd never order it again not quality.
