Have bought this many times. The most recent bag is almost all black sunflower seeds. Some of our birds do not like it and won't eat from one of our feeders. I guess it is not a good ratio/mix with the rest of the ingredients. I bought this bag online so maybe that is why it is different though the bag's packaging looks the exact same.

Great assortment of seeds my birds like. Doesn't have too many of those little round brown seeds that the birds throw on the ground and has a lot of the little round white seeds that they really like. I have 9 seed feeders and go through at least 40 pounds a month.

This mix is heavy on the standard bird seed food that gets mostly tossed aside from the relatively small amount of sunflower seeds and nuts. This contains way too much "filler" material that the cost doesn't justify the overall purchase. I found that birds pick through the small seed to get the sunflower seed and nuts, so I will not be purchasing this item again.

Millet Milieu - the amount of millet seed clogs up the feeder because most birds do not eat millet seed when there is other good seed around. It hides the good seed from the birds and they fling it on the ground for the squirrels and chipmunks - ie, attracts rodents. Sorry that the bag is not rodent proof but got destroyed while in my garage. Your better to get a bag of Black Oil Seeds at Wal-mart.

This is Sam's Club premium birdseed. It's fairly good. Has nuts and seeds the birds like. Sam's used to carry a name brand Premium birdseed at twice the cost. There was a much better variety and quality of seed. However, the birds seem to eat Sam's brand just fine, so I'll continue to buy it. I really like having the 40 pound bags of seed shipped directly to my door. Free shipping if you're a Plus member and I don't have to lift 40 pounds in and out of my car.

This birdseed was substituted for the regular one I purchase at Sam’s. It is not good. With the previous birdseed I had, I would have to re-fill my bird feeder every day, and sometimes twice. I have gone 4 days and not needed to fill it at all. I do not see any birds at all on or near my feeder. I’m not sure what the difference is, perhaps the excessive sunflower seeds, but the birds in my neighborhood do not like it. I wasted $27. I certainly hope they bring back their other brands.

You can’t beat the value for a high quality multi-seed feed. My cardinals love it as do a dozen other species - tufted, chickadees, blue jays, finches, even a couple of mourning doves have started to enjoy some. I’m on my third bag, will continue to buy for foreseeable future

This is definitely a low-cost alternative to what I find elsewhere. It is full of dust and debris that makes me give it a 3 star review. It says it has raisins, which are few and far between or too small for me to tell what they are. Otherwise ok. Less sunflower seeds than the picture appears.

This would have been a five-star item a year ago. I have used it for several years. This was an excellent blend of bird feed and there was almost no waste compared to other brands. The price has almost doubled, and I think they have started adding filler. It is still good but expensive.

I’ve been using this for a few months in my bird feeder. The birds and squirrels love it. I have a big bird feeder as I like to only fill it once a day. When I fill it at 9 am, it’s empty by 3 pm. Generally there are 10-12 birds eating at once and another dozen waiting in the shrub for their turn. Love seeing all of the birds enjoying the birdseed. I’ll continue to use this as it’s the birds’ favorite.
