When I first started purchasing this seed, I was thrilled by how fresh it was and so were the birds. Five stars all the way. Now, They must have a warehouse full of this and it is OLD and full of COBWEBS and MOTHS. Just completely disgusting. Still charging the same price when they shoud be giving it away or dumping it and getting fresh seed.

I've been buying this birdseed for years, except for one other time, I've always been happy with it. As of the last bag, the price had gone up considerably. Okay, I will deal with that since I love my wild birds. Then that expensive bag I'd ordered got here, ALMOST ALL MILLET SEED, very little sunflower seed, and NO RAISINS!!! When I say no raisins, I mean Zero, Zilch, not a single raisin!! A total rip-off, especially for the huge increase in price.

If you read the ingredients it plainly states contains sunflower seeds raisns and peanuts no fillers. This bag contained FILLERS with a small amount of sunflower seeds peanuts and raisns. Same garbage that they have in the store Customer service was awesome with my return DO NOT BUY

I've seen all different types of birds. Cardinals, finches and parrots among my favorites. When the Sam's Club near my house stopped carrying the Valley Splendor bird seed, I tried the smaller more expensive bird seed and lost the interest of my favorite birds. Now I'm willing to go out of my way to find a Sam's Club to get the Supreme Blend. It's very affordable and best of all my favorite vistors are back.

We relied on Sams for our bird seed for years--until this year. The new stuff is not as good a mix as the old Morning Song, and just as important, filling a bird feeder from a 40 pound bag is a pain. Morning Song had 5 separate bags in the box, and it was easy to take one out and carry it off to the feeder. Moreover, the other bags remained sealed, so less infestation.

Last year Sam's had a great black sunflower seed that attracted a wide variety of birds. That pure 'cherry' sunflower seed was replaced by their house brand of inferior seed. The few birds that still come to my backyard pick out the few sunflower seeds, and leave the small gravel like pellets that seem to make up the majority of this mixture. Will be finding a better source of bird feed - luckily found a local feed store with pure sunflower bird feed.

I have always purchased Pennington Bird food which has been quite popular with a variety of birds. Typically there are at least 15-30 birds at my 4 feeders throughout the day. The Member's Mark Supreme Blend Wild Bird Food was on sale, so I thought I would try it. Big mistake! All 4 feeders have been untouched for over one week. I even scattered some seed on the ground but even the squirrels aren't eating it!

I had looked at bird feed previously at my local Sam's Club and wasn't impressed. Happened to check again recently and they had this Valley Splendor Supreme. Took a bag home and was very impressed with the quality of seed and lack of fillers and corn. I usually bought two or three different kinds to get a mix I liked which got expensive. This is a great product and value which I hope Sam's continues to carry.

I agree with the reviewer who can't understand why people woudn't like this. I have bought lots of different bird food and yes I like the Morning Song brand, however, I feed birds. I have six feeders and small bags are not an option. This has great seed, not filler. I had been buying sunflower seed separately and adding; there is no need to do that with this brand. Kudos to Sams and the Valley Spendor Co. Yeah!

I give it 5 stars because at this price point it's a good buy. It's heavy on millet, but that's not a bad thing either. Has a fair amount of black oil sunflower seeds which makes it a big draw for numerous species. And it does have a fair selection of other favorable seeds/nuts even if there are not a lot of them percentage wise. I don't see anything like red Milo, oats, or other worthless fillers. In my opinion this will bring in a good variety of birds in the Midwest where I live. So long as the price remains reasonable I'm a continuous buyer.
