[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 8 months back, it seems like, needs few improvements, in the ice maker ice cubes get stuck on the sides and it senses that ice is still enough in the bucket, so no new ice is being made and only solution is to take out the bucket and shuffle it. Secondly there’s no illumination for the bottom freezer compartment. When it is dark and open the top freezer there is light but not for the bottom one. Third the temperature adjustment shown on the door does not go down inside. It is about 7 degrees difference for example if you set the temperature at 33 degrees, after overnight cooling it shows 40 degrees with digital thermometer. Fourth there is no volume control for alarm for door left open. It is so low volume that I can not hear the alarm even if I am in front of the refrigerator.

It definitely accommodates more food than my previous fridge, especially the freezer-I love the freezer two drawer design for keeping things organized. The feature of melodically alerting me to an open door is also appreciated. Overall I’m very glad I purchased this appliance.

We’ve had our fridge @3weeks. We bought a floor model that was similar to our 11yo LG that quit. The size is smaller but we have fewer kids at home. The upgraded water and ice dispenser is MUCH better. I like the split freezer. The previous one was a deep hole and the things that’ sunk to the bottom were never to be seen again. So far so good. I hear rumors nothing lasts over 7-8y anymore, I hope we get another decade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my old side-by-side, this frig has loads of space. Love the full width drawer in the frig compartment for meats. Like the double freezer drawers. I can open the top one with all my breakfast and lunch items and not need to open the lower drawer with my frozen meats and vegetables. The sliding shelf is handy for gallons of milk and juice. They will fit in the door shelf, but it is easier for me to lift it when it is on the shelf. Glad we chose to get this feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the refrigerator overall. But my beef is with the owner’s manual and the WiFi link. The manual basically does not say anything. No explanation of the control panel, cryptic on the WiFi usage, and some description is apparently about other models. Another thing is I still don’t understand why LG bothered to offer a WiFi link. I did link it up with my iPhone, but why do I need it? Do anybody change the temperature setting?

After our reviews of all available brands that fits our space, we locked ourselves with this model and brand. I must say it has been fantastic. Very quite operation, plenty of space, it seems much more then 28.6 cubic feet. It does allow you to rearrange shelves to accommodate your style of managing space. Absolutely thrilled that we bought LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek design, very quiet and smudge proof exterior. Plenty of room inside fridge, with ice maker on door. I also like the half shelf to allow taller items. I find the 2 freezer drawers makes it easier and faster to find what I'm looking for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has almost all the features we want. With covid, we had little choice on refrigerators available. We got the french doors and in door ice/water we wanted. We saw that there was an ice basket in freezer, but didn't realize there is no ice maker there. This really doesn't produce nearly the amount of ice as past refrigerators, as the door holder is small. It also makes a very strange kind of vibrating coil sound a few times a day that is very loud. Thankfully it only lasts a few seconds at a time. Was told that this is 'normal' but not clear what it is doing when this happens. Wish that the door shelves were height adjustable and that the interior shelves were also more adjustable. Finding that we have had to adjust how we use the fridge, rather than having it adjust to us. We have heard from friends with same fridge that there is an issue with the doors in that after a time the door open chime continues to sound continuously even with doors closed and that this is a known problem with this model. They have removed the chime sound on/off option in controls and the only way to fix is to replace the entire door. We anxiously await this problem for ours.
