This giant jar of pickles was a perfect birthday gift for my niece. She would live in a pickle JAR, if she could ! She is a "pickle princess" to the max ! We have been trying new pickle recipes and finally have enough pickles for more than a couple tries!

If you like dill pickles these are the ones to grab in my opinion. The pickles inside this jar are very large pickles. I like it that they don't have that strong tart taste to them like other brands. I usually grab one during the day if I get a urge for a snack and it seems to do the trick. The pickle are solid, but I have gotten a few that felt soft on the ends. This is usually because the cucumber didn't develop fully as it grew on the vine before picking. Pickle still tasted great with or without the hollow spot. It's still a great go to grab snack. Great for making your own relish. I like taking a small part of it and dice it up and add to my tuna. I also save that pickle juice and drop me some boiled eggs into it and let it sit for a week before I get to enjoy another great snack to grab.

In my house, it is apparently a SIN to run out of pickles. Everyone in my family seems to believe pickles are a perfectly acceptable snack for any occasion. Hungry? Grab a pickle. Making a sandwich? Grab a pickle. Wandering through the kitchen looking for something to eat? Pickle. Wake up in the middle of the night with a little case of the munchies? Evidently the answer is, once again, pickle. My oldest son is in his mid-30s now, has been a grown man for quite some time, and one of the first things he still does when he walks into my house is head for the pickle jar. If I've committed the unforgivable offense of running out, trust me, I hear about it. So yes, we buy the enormous 128-ounce jar. Thankfully, Mt. Olive Kosher Dills are consistently crisp, crunchy, tangy and exactly what my pickle-obsessed family wants. The big jar is a great value when your household goes through them like normal people go through cookies. I can't promise this jar will bring peace and harmony to every family, but in mine, keeping it stocked apparently prevents civil unrest. Five stars. I know better than to run out.

We use pickles as a snack while we are on a high protein diet. I buy the large jar for the quantity and value. The one drawback is the size of the jar. I bought an oversized ziplock bag and put them in there and stored them in our crisper drawer in fridge. They are more juicy than crisp. We love the flavor they add to our salads. I used the pickle juice to make a salad dressing so nothing was wasted.

If you are a serious pickle lover and have the room in your refrigerator, this is absolutely the best deal around for delicious kosher dills. You can see the jar next to a 2 L bottle of soda. it would actually make a really nice gift for someone who loves pickles. It does have to be refrigerated after opening, so make sure you’ve got the fridge room for it.

All Mt. Olive products taste close to home-made. My Mother canned, we canned, my sisters, and brothers canned and we all agree, in our opinions, the taste is really good.

YUMMY! Large pickles! On our third jar so far, in less than a month! So worth it! I’m addicted! Pickles make me happy and these make me ecstatic! Love ‘em!!

Great price and great seasoning in this jar! I like my pickles to absorb as much flavor from the brine, so I put a slit (from a knife) in the top few pickles in the jar, and I enjoy them even more! As I eat those slit pieces, I continue to slice into the next pickles in the jar and so on. Try it!!!

We buy a jar of these monthly and have been doing so for years. The last two jars have not tasted as good as expected, based on history, I’m hoping MT Olive has not changed something in their processing.

I have purchased 2 times and both were extreme disappointments. This last bottle of pickles were split, bruised, chunks missing, mussy & rotted. Absolutely ZERO taste. I miss Vlasic crunchy, fresh and excellent quality and taste. Why did you switch to these disgusting things. NASTY!!
