Our rate hardly ate any of the poison. Then it avoided it. Almost a week later was destructive within 2 feet of the station. The station was a total failure.

Checked it daily for about a week. Bait slowly disappears, but no rat caught. Somehow they get the bait but avoid getting caught. Traditional snap trap doesn't get them either. Trap is sprung, bait is gone--no rat. Multiple tries.

Bought this today. Can the rodent escape back out of the trap once it goes inside. There are not very clear details on the packaging about this question.
