[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these outside to hang garland and Christmas lights. They were installed late November and taken off in January. They held up through below zero temps, snow and high winds. They came off the painted metal surface easily and with no damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These command strip clips are great. I will be using them for my holiday lights instead of the homemade copper s clips I have uses in the past. The command strips will adhere to most surfaces if you follow the directions (Don't expect them to attach to rough stucco) such as smooth tile, vinyl windows frames, glass windows and smooth metal finishes. They come off easily to, just make sure you pull the tab for the adhesive straight down from the clip, and not off to the side or away from what the adhesive is attached to.

I put these up on my house and when it rained all but 2 came down. They were very wet and had come loose because of the moisture. They might be okay in some parts of the country but not where you get rain and snow. I am disappointed that they did not work because it was such a great idea. And they are very expensive when you can't use them. I bought 4 packages and will be returning the unopened ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Command Outdoor Light Clips only hold light items for me. Although it says light in the title, I wanted to test a variety of items to see which works best on the clips. Too much weight will definitely cause the clips to fall off the surface. I also tried it on both smooth and rough surfaces; it worked on the smooth surface but not on the rough surface. This may be a problem since the majority of my outdoor area is not smooth, and thus, the clips can only be used in a small selection of places. The clips seem strong, and the strips are easy to apply and remove. However, the strips did not stick very well for me.

I had a set of these that I bought 2 years ago and they stayed up with lights through two summers, and through the winter without the lights. I had to remove them since we got new gutters on the house. I put up new strips and followed all directions, and they won't stay up more than an hour. I've broken 2 lightbulbs on my patio from them falling down. I took the backing off of one strip just to test it with my fingers and there is zero adhesive on them. Seems like a lot of complaints on here about the same thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This clips are great for hanging outdoor lights around your door. They are strong and hold the lights in place. I haven't had any issues with any falling down. They are a perfect way to hang lights but still be able to take them down if needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Command outdoor clips were easy to install along the inside of our backyard patio awning. I highly recommend using these if you are attaching any items outdoors these work perfectly and you won’t need many to get the job done with these lightweight string lights. We attached with the included double sided strips one clip for every 2 feet in length of string lights worked great for 30 feet of lights. Has held up for weeks during 90+ degree temperatures. Love that they are water and UV proof.

I used these two days ago to hang up two strands of outdoor lights. These weren't even able to stay up for two days and fell down after a little rain. Now I have to deal with a bunch of broken glass on my patio. These are not worth it and no consumer should buy them.

Quite a few months back (January) I visited my sister in Florida. Told her about these because she wanted lights hung up in the pool area. Drove around to specifically find the correct ones for outdoors. We hung her lights and they are still hanging without a problem. Even with the heat & humidity that they get in Sebring, they are staying strongly attached.
