I searched for a Santa Maria for a while and was between this one and another one that was twice as expensive. I ended up getting this one and just put it together today. First, with something this large I was expecting to have to drill something out, look for extra bolts/ parts and have to wait to use it. Everything was there and it all bolted right together. I put it together by myself and it took a total of three hours with a few break worked in. The quality of the grill, the metal, and wood exceeded my expectations. Going to fire it up for the first time tomorrow and can’t wait to use it.

as soon as my grandkids and got it together, they built a fire and grilled fresh trout on it . we love it. its so nice being able to control the heat by how much coals you put under it and easily raise and lower the grill, all the holes fit perfectly and there were plenty of extra bolts, etc. top qulity - you get what you pay for!

The Santa Maria Grill has quickly become my favorite way to cook outdoors. Purchased last month, assembled two weeks ago, cooked on it last week. Love it! Assembly was simple, but not easy. Good instructions, excellent packaging, high quality parts, all the tools are appreciated. Took me about seven hours to complete (hot sun, wear gloves!), but finished product is beautiful. I've been showing it off to my friends and neighbors.

I'm still in shock that I get to own a Santa Maria type grill. I've wanted one for years, but the pricing was just out of control. I was worried that I was going to "get what I paid for" here and have a bbq that might not last that long, but I was pleasantly surprised that this thing is a beast! Incredibly heavy and well built! Took some time to build but was very straight forward and quite easy. Cooking over live fire is a craft that I'm still working on but there is no going back for me! Bought this a few weeks ago. Very sturdy and seems well constructed. Great for a day of Argentine asado. Mechanism of the wheel and grate seems promising and made of stainless. Made some great sausages and picana.

I recently purchased a Premium Argentine/Santa Maria BBQ Grill, and I have to say, I’m extremely impressed with its quality and craftsmanship. Right out of the box, it's clear that this grill is built to last. The materials used are top-notch, and the finish is absolutely immaculate — every detail is well thought out, giving it a premium, sturdy feel. Mounting it was straightforward, though it did take me about 2 hours. The instructions were clear, and with some patience, I got everything set up without too much trouble. The design of the grill is well-organized, with everything fitting into place securely. Once assembled, I couldn't wait to fire it up. The cooking experience is exceptional. It retains heat beautifully and cooks evenly, delivering that authentic Argentine BBQ flavor. The adjustable height for the grill grate is a great feature for controlling the temperature, and the overall performance has been nothing short of fantastic. I’m absolutely loving it so far. If you’re looking for a premium, high-quality BBQ grill that not only performs well but also looks amazing in your backyard, this is definitely worth the investment. Highly recommend!

This Argentinian Grill is solid! Well-built with top quality material. For this price range—the quality is amazing. This grill is heavy, solid, and perfectly fitted together—every hole, every connection was perfectly aligned for assembly. The instructions for assembly, especially using the BILT app, were complete and detailed. Assembly time suggested 2hrs to complete—maybe with two people, by myself it took closer to four hours. I have a 4-burnner Weber gas grill, a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker, and an outdoor pizza oven—so this Argentinian Grill completed our outdoor cooking/grilling needs. This is built to last and comes with a cover. I assembled in my garage and moved to my patio area (waited to install fire bricks; brasero; and top assembly due to the weight—since had to roll over grass). Side table is legit—heavy, thick. The coal shovel is extremely useful to shovel coals under brasero to main grill area. Seems they added a removable bottom rail that sits on top of the fire bricks—but this is fine since grilling Argentinian style demands that the coals be spread out and not directly under the meat (though fine if you want to put coals on top of the rail). If you have doubts due to the low price—since it is a few thousand less than most Argentinian Grills on the market-- I would say don’t hesitate to buy this, it is a great value! Be sure to look up some videos on Argentinian grilling as the slow cook style is different from the way you are probably used to grilling. Low heat and slow grilling locks in the flavor and juices. While it is heavy, 350 lbs., it roles easily over pavers or patio concrete. I would suggest also purchasing a Pizza Oven Brush and an Ash Rake (already had for my outdoor pizza oven) for moving coals and to help with clean up.

It looks like a great product. Well-built and backed by this good company. However, I believe it is missing an essential element which is the “V-Shaped” signature Argentinian Grill. I understand it could increase the price, but maybe it could be offered as an option to guarantee fit?

It is well built with the following exceptions. 1. The fire box has warped out in the back from the heat in the box. 2. There is a stainless steel horz. center brace to keep the 2 columns in place. This is not shown shown in the pictures, but is necessary for proper alignment. This brace makes distributing the coals more difficult and makes cleaning a chore. On the plus side it offers good bang for the buck and is well made with note to the above issues.
