I hope I learn to love it more.

I've had Samsung soundbars before and have loved them for what they bring out in the audio portion of the presentation. I'm not sure that I love this unit as much as I need to. The specifications on the Sam's.com site are sketchy and it's narrative description reads like it is "like" units at *est*uy and A*t, while it is "similar" to units from samsung that are available from those electronics retailers it is difficult to compare. I saved the packing to see if it performs as it needs to That's why it got a "3".

Hello,Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding the HW-C43C Samsung Soundbar. This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Bass Boost mode to instantly amplify the bass with a touch of a button. You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND – GAME – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD.Additionally, there are two additional adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down2) Adjust the BASS or TREBLE by pressing the TONE CONTROL button on the remote control, then select By pressing the CH LEVEL button, you can adjust the volume of the VIRTUAL CENTER LEVEL. This will allow you to adjust the overall dialogue between -6 to +6 using the UP/DOWN button on the provided Soundbar remote.For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics by pressing and holding the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds, make sure you also set the SOUND MODE to STANDARD.

Nope... Not Happy with this...

This thing is a mess. It sounds fine, however it will not stay connected to my bluetooth devices. Periodically, it will just turn off and then I have to go reconnect it manually. its just horrible, i am returning it... well I hope i can, my wife threw away the box *cry*

Sound upgrade at a decent price.

Sound quality is very good, for the price-point. The separate woofer adds the depth necessary for a more immersive movie experience that goes beyond systems which only use a soundbar. The DTS tuning does add some "height" to the sound, as well. The construction/material quality of the, actual, speaker housings leaves a little to be desired but they do their job and allow for easy wall mounting, if you want. Set-up was simple and I've had no issues, so far, with connectivity or performance. Again, for the price, a solid upgrade beyond just the TV speakers.

Great value!

This is a fantastic soundbar at this price point. The sub woofer gives all the bass I need, and the soundbar itself is crystal clear on the mids and highs. The fact it includes Dolby, DTS Virtual X, and Surround Sound Expansion is amazing for this "budget friendly" soundbar choice. In the past, I've bought boom boxes and paired them to my TV to try to simulate the theater experience, but the Samsung C43C is the only product that delivers.... by adding the sub woofer. 270 watts is plenty for my great room and the sound really feels like it fills the space beautifully. Read the directions carefully for the pairing of the soundbar to the woofer. And note that the volume control on the remote is not a "push button" but a toggle switch up and down. You'll love this product!
