Have always used Downy white bottle, no scent, because the scented ones are too strong, however this time I bought April Fresh to dilute with no scent so it would be just right, when I had a huge problem....sort of shocking and unbelievable, actually, but here goes....a little was on the bottom of the bottle and stained my drier. How is that possible? I am stunned. I do not want to take off the shine and ruin my new drier but this is really disgusting, how is this possible????!!!! What can I do???

I used it exactly as directed and when I went to remove my clothes from my washer, the softner had not dissolved in the water and was stuck to some of my clothes. The way in which it was stuck cannot be described as anything else other than snot-looking. I did an extra rinse and spin thinking that would help...NOPE! I had to rewash the clothes TWO MORE TIMES! I've always loved the P&G product line and have never had an issue with their products. However, I will NOT be buying Downy fabric softner. Thankfully I didn't pay for this sample or I would be even more irate!

We have tried many different fabric softeners over the years. We always come back to Downy and particularly love Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner. It simply works and my family loves the smell when putting on their clothes...and strangers love it too! Move over Old Spice, this is the scent that is attractive to everyone!

I have used all of the scents that Downy has to offer but I always find myself coming back to the classic scent of April Fresh. Downy helps keep our laundry soft and smelling fresh wash after wash. I cannot bring myself to buy another brand even if it is on sale!! Thank you Downy for such an awesome!e product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only fabric softner that is used in my house is Downey I love all of the scents, but I buy April Fresh the most. It keeps my clothes smelling good and soft. With four kids and a husband it is needed as much as laundry soap in my home!

Downy has been my go to product. The smell, softness and control of static cling had been dependable. I recently been noticing static cling on my clothes that caused me to notice the fresh smell was not as pronounced (I could almost live with this). But having my clothes cling to me, no way. You Downy have thinned. Downy has tried to pull the rug over our eyes. I AM BUYING WATER? and in turn am flushing my $$ down the drain, because this product no longer works. Be the product we have trusted for decades. Your customers are smart and we have chosen to buy a quality product because we knew it worked, at times spending a little more then on a product that did not work as well. Now it doesn't, and you have tried to fool us the consumer. Shame on you! If you had improved your product you would have announced it in Bold letter on your packaging. When you thin your product do you announce NOT SO IMPROVED, WATER ADDED! NO. Bring the old Downy back. Keep your life long Downy user.

I discovered it a few months ago while browsing the laundry isle at my local grocery store (which is always my first stop, considering my addiction) & I can honestly say it was love at first smell! But the smell is only where it begins.. Being the laundry maniac that I am, I'm very picky about what I use on my clothes & prefer to only use the best of the best & this Downy April Fresh has set my standards extremely high when compared to others. Not only does it have a fantastic smell, but it actually gives my fabrics the perfect softness that they deserve & that I have been long searching for on my long journey through "The Laundry World". I really can't stress the ULTRA part of this product because that is exactly what it is. Sometimes if I know I'm going to be using or wearing something shortly after washing (a tee shirt, bed sheets, comforter, etc.), I'll let it air dry JUST so the smell/softness will be THAT much stronger. Paired with the Tide plus Downy April Fresh & the Downy April Fresh dryer sheets, YOU CAN DO NO WRONG! Do the right thing for you & your clothes & make this product a must have in your laundry doing process!! You won't be sorry.
