I have used all of the scents that Downy has to offer but I always find myself coming back to the classic scent of April Fresh. Downy helps keep our laundry soft and smelling fresh wash after wash. I cannot bring myself to buy another brand even if it is on sale!! Thank you Downy for such an awesome!e product!

Downy has been my go to product. The smell, softness and control of static cling had been dependable. I recently been noticing static cling on my clothes that caused me to notice the fresh smell was not as pronounced (I could almost live with this). But having my clothes cling to me, no way. You Downy have thinned. Downy has tried to pull the rug over our eyes. I AM BUYING WATER? and in turn am flushing my $$ down the drain, because this product no longer works. Be the product we have trusted for decades. Your customers are smart and we have chosen to buy a quality product because we knew it worked, at times spending a little more then on a product that did not work as well. Now it doesn't, and you have tried to fool us the consumer. Shame on you! If you had improved your product you would have announced it in Bold letter on your packaging. When you thin your product do you announce NOT SO IMPROVED, WATER ADDED! NO. Bring the old Downy back. Keep your life long Downy user.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mom used Downy April Fresh ever since I can remember! We had the freshest smelling clothes in the whole school maybe the whole neighborhood! I often wonder, after getting married, if Mom followed the directions or if she used as much as she wanted so that they kept the smell and then one nice summer day I found out for myself that she did! Maybe she did use a bit more but only when she had to get the fresh scent we were all so used to! She had a dryer but she still chose to hang them out in the fresh air, weather permitting, naturally, which may have helped them retain such a beautiful scent. With her washing for the 6 of us and her twin Brother, whose wife left him, with 4 little girls, she would have gone broke if she over did it, affordable or not. Mom is no longer with us but the smell of her laundry softened with Downy still lingers, after all these years,in all of our memories. When she'd buy my four Daughters clothes she'd wash them first and the girls just loved how they smelled. I think,it meant more to them, then then the outfit itself. I, too, use Downy, like my Mom, but the smell doesn't seem to linger for me the way it did when she used it, but the memories sure do.(I don't hang them outside though either) The smell of Downy, to All of us, is one we associate with Love, or as we call it Mom's Special Love! We have many beautiful memories of Mom, but not many memories of anyone else we know or have heard others speak of also carry a scent that's carried along with the memories, especially ones of your Laundry with you for 15 years now and associate it with a Special Love no one else could eve fill!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ultra Downy April Fresh Fabric Softener is E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G to me & my laundry routine plus more! I discovered it a few months ago while browsing the laundry isle at my local grocery store (which is always my first stop, considering my addiction) & I can honestly say it was love at first smell! But the smell is only where it begins.. Being the laundry maniac that I am, I'm very picky about what I use on my clothes & prefer to only use the best of the best & this Downy April Fresh has set my standards extremely high when compared to others. Not only does it have a fantastic smell, but it actually gives my fabrics the perfect softness that they deserve & that I have been long searching for on my long journey through "The Laundry World". I really can't stress the ULTRA part of this product because that is exactly what it is. Sometimes if I know I'm going to be using or wearing something shortly after washing (a tee shirt, bed sheets, comforter, etc.), I'll let it air dry JUST so the smell/softness will be THAT much stronger. Paired with the Tide plus Downy April Fresh & the Downy April Fresh dryer sheets, YOU CAN DO NO WRONG! Do the right thing for you & your clothes & make this product a must have in your laundry doing process!! You won't be sorry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the scent so much. It really makes if feel like spring even inside in the basement. It's as if you were walking next to a little garden shop and the wind caught the scent and it flowed to you.

I hadn't used Downy in a while so I was happy to find a free sample from Influenster. This left our laundry soft, smelling fresh, and static-free. I will definitely put this on my next grocery list. I received the product free for testing purposes from Influenster but the opinion expressed is my own.

We have tried many different fabric softeners over the years. We always come back to Downy and particularly love Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner. It simply works and my family loves the smell when putting on their clothes...and strangers love it too! Move over Old Spice, this is the scent that is attractive to everyone!
