Leaving a review to get the free cover for generator, which should be included. This removes my trust of all of the 5 star reviews. Are most positive reviews just to get the free cover? I wont be able to review it until I use it for a couple years. Hopefully its durable and built to last. It looks great.

Bought this in September and had transfer switches installed on the house. Have not yet needed it but did prep it for operations and started it up. The battery wasn't charged so I had to manually start it. It started on the 2nd pull and ran like a top (with no load on it.) I'm sure this will perform well under load but I really hope it never has to.

I bought this WGen9500c generator after having several other brands fail after months of use. This generator gleams of Quality. Everything is well designed and accessible. Everything is supplied, wheels, stand pads, engine oil, angled funnel (not straight like most others), handlebars built to fold within the framework, and a remote. After unpacking the generator and adding oil and gas, it fired right up. This generator is a beast and will power most anything you need. I'm impressed with this generator.

I would probably give this five stars if I had had opportunities to use it yet. I just had my electrician hook up my generator to the power outlets as required. I am thrilled to know that when a power outage occurs I can easily roll my generator outside, away from my home, using the attached handled cart. It also gives me peace of mind to know that there is an electric start or key fob available when time comes to start the generator. A trusted name I grew up with, Westinghouse, is another comfort for me in making this purchase. Living in the Northeast makes me sure that when Old Man Winter comes my way, I will be ready with my new Westinghouse portable generator! Ladies, if I can do this, you can too.

We bought a MEP 003a diesel generator. The problem was that it required a bunch of steps to get it started. My wife and I are getting old and she needed something easier to start. So we decided to replace it. With this Westinghouse WGen9500c, you turn on the switch and either press the on switch or the keyfob button and the unit starts itself. We live in a 16 x 80 mhp that has a 2 ton air unit. This generator powered the ac and our full size fridge with no problem. FYI, it was Mr. Westinghouse that came up with the idea to use AC to provide electricity to the United States. If you have ever been in a power outage you know that you need something that is dependable to get you through until the power is restored. We chose this generator and a manual transfer switch.

Generator was received in perfect condition, put it together in less than 10 minutes, put fuel in it for testing and it started right up without hesitation. Highly recommend as this is the best generator I've owned. I love the battery charger they supplied and the fob to start it up.

I bought this generator to upsize one I had previously bought. This one had so many great features that the one I previously purchased did not. Once arrived, it came with everything needed to get this generator up and running. Haven't been able to use it yet, but I am excited to see how it does and just how much it powers.

We bought this as a backup home generator primarily, but also wanted the flexibility from a portable unit. This is so easy to put together. The push button start and fob start are great features so that anyone can use it. We highly recommend this generator.

My first experience with Westinghouse. So far, I am impressed. Easy Set-Up. I followed the easy directions to fill fluids, connect the battery, learn the specs, etc.. The key fob was already factory paired, because the directions to do so seamed a bit confusing at first glance. The choke appears to be automatic, but labored to adjust during initial start. I turned the generator off and restarted, resolving the issue. The key fob starter is awesome; worked perfectly out of the box. One suggestion is to relocate the battery connection as it partially obstructs access to the oil dip-stick port. Overall score out of the box: 10. The true test, of course, will be the next big storm. Stay tuned...

Very well built down to the welds of the frame. They must have been listening to customers reviews because the 50 amp plug is no longer sitting above the wheel. That caused major issues with very thick cables. Tons of features for the money. I almost can't wait for the next hurricane to put this through its paces. Very happy with my purchase and would buy from again.
