I received the generator and opened the carton the same day. Did not have a issue with anything. Was very easy to assemble every thing you need is supplyed. Several days later I serviced the generator and have done the brakein peroid according to the manual. Just wating for a warmer day to do a full run on the generator. Very happy with the unit so far.

THIS THE BEST AND THE EASIEST PORTABLE GENERATOR TO USE. MY POWER COMPANY CANT FOR SOME REASON, KEEP THE POWER GOING. AND WAS TIRED OF LOOSING MY FOOD IN THE REFRIGERATOR. FOOD COST ARE RIDICULOUS. BUT THE POWER CAME BACK ON IN 5 MINUTES BEFORE I COULD ROLL THIS BABY OUT, ALMOST LIKE IT KNEW WGEN9500c WAS ABOUT TO SHOW OUT AND PUT THE POWER COMPANY TO SHAME BUT I CAN REST A SHURED THAT THIS WG9500c WILL HAVE ITS DAY WHEN THE STORM SEASON IN ST.LOUIS MO STARTS SOON, IM LOCKED A LOADED AND READY.

Bought this when we moved into our new house in a remote location because I was concerned about losing power from storms. My hope was to just run the essentials since we already had a while home switchover but man surprised. We were able to run the ac, 2 fridges, a stand up freezer, two sumps, the well pump, septic pump, range, and numerous lights all at once. Couldn't be happier. Set up was easy, did it at 12am with no power since I had been too lazy to setup the generator in advance.

Bought this a month ago our only problem was we couldn't find the remote control we contacted Westinghouse they told us to look on the pull start rope. Even though instructions says the remote is in the bag the person from Westinghouse told us too many people couldn't find the remote probably tossed them out on the trash so they now out it on the pull start rope. Your welcome we suggest Westinghouse add a note to say where the remote is stored. Other than that so far this unit has operated fantastic. We have started on both propane and gas starts right up. Didn't even have to program the remote it worked first try. We still haven't put a load on it yet.

I bought this last month in preparation for the upcoming winter. My family was affected by the Texas power outage during Icemaggedon two years ago and I do not want to be in that position again. This product looks great and gives me the confidence needed to be head of my household.

Great generator, bought about a month ago. Easy setup, generator has electric start and key fob. Its easy for my wife to start and operate. The generator powers our whole hose with well, electric hot water heater, pellet stove, furnace and more. Would recommend

I bought this generator after a lot of research. I like the features this generator had over other models such as the remote start and automatic choke. For the rated output, I was pleased to see how compact the generator was and how quiet it was compared to others that were similar in output.

I bought this a month ago. Used it once when we experienced the power outage. It is powerful enough for my needs. I like the indicator showing Voltage, Frequency and Time used. Looking forward to get warning about needed preventive maintenance at preset hours, seems to be very clever cost/damage saving feature. I also like automatic choke very much, as it was always dicey to explain to my wife how to operate the old generator with manual choke. Not sure what the gas consumption would be with light load vs. full load, there is no description of this in manual (my old Generac was able to switch to low output). It does not have any oil filter, which I think is a serious omission for such large 13.5HP engine, it would certainly prolong engine life. I wish it had come with the advertised remote control. Needless to say that Westinghouse promised to send me one, since it was missing in original shipment.

I have only had the WGen9500 generator for a week but it seems to do everything that I need it to do. It has great features and plenty of power. My only complaint is that the fuel gauge does not register until the tank is nearly full and it doesn't seem to be that accurate.

The power was out for 48 hours and then intermittent while new poles were being placed for a total of 5 days without reliable power. I chose the 9500c to ensure I could run most equipment in the house for extended outages. I am happy with the ease of assembly and the clarity of the owners manual. Detailed instructions on short term storage and long term. There is a separate quickstart procedure sheet with a complete maintenance schedule on the back. Assembly tools are included. It is very heavy but the wheels seem very heavy duty and hold the weight, making this easy to roll out. Remember to always get bigger than you think you need so you have room to add and not have to get another generator.
