I just bought this generator and after setting up which was super simple and quick. I did the first run with no load. After that I did a load with just a small 32 inch LCD TV and a lamp. Then I added my deep freezer and refrigerator. The thing didn't even bat an eye and I was no where near close to the wattage of the unit. The next power outage I have I'm not gonna have a problem running everything to make my family comfortable.

Excellently received in box on a crate, opened and all parts present. Followed simple instructions for assembly and first time run operation. Everything worked as it should and is now stored nicely in my garage awaiting its first real call to action.

We habitually lose power several times a year because we live in the country. The last time the electricity was out for days. I was worried about food getting spoiled. This generator foots the bill. I need to explore all the options it offers because I only used the 120v outlets for the refrigerator/freezer. It definitely gives you ‘piece of mind’ when Mother Nature gets nasty. The generator arrived boxed and palletized. Unboxing showed no damage and assembly of the wheels and feet was simple. I filled the oil and gas tanks, but when I tried to start it with the push button start nothing happened. After several tries I gave up and started it manually it ran fine. I let it run for about 20 minutes thinking the battery needed charging, but that did not happen. I checked the battery connections and re-read all the instructions, but to no avail. Then I checked the wires that were tucked up under the control panel and saw two male/female connection wires held together with a zip tie and saw that that was the issue. Once connected, the generator started as it should with the push button. It would have been nice if this necessary connection was mentioned in the start-up instructions.

I live in Florida,and have many power outages. Sometimes for 10 days at a time due to weather. So I purchased two wgen9500's. My AC guy and my electrition said it would not power my 4ton AC. I had the electrition hook it up and we ran my AC,2 refrigerators, lights, well pump,TV's, also turned hot water heater on ,but not sure if it needed to run at the time. I am very happy with my purchases. thanks for a great product..

I bought this last year and didn't open box for 3 months expecting nothing to be wrong with it. I found it was damaged. Being out of 30 day return time frame, Westinghouse replaced unit. Quite surprised. Customer service was phenomenal. Tested operation on all electric house. Unit fired right up and maintained power to whole house. Easy to start and easy to run. Simple. No more darkness and multiple coats.

I placed the order of the WGen9500 and it arrived few days later. The generator is 90% assemble. Only have to install the two wheels/legs and add the oil. I don't want to lift the generator around my house so I installed four wheels on it so i can move the generator with ease.

We experience power outages 3-4 times a year regardless of the maintenance the linemen do. A friend suggested this brand as "rock solid" and he was right! easy to put together along with engine prep and in using the key fob fired right up on the first hit! the push button start on the unit itself fired up in one push . . .now i know my wife can start it if i'm not home and its gives her confidence to!

We purchased this generator several months ago after experiencing numerous power outages in our neighborhood. After researching several options, we chose this one for the capacity and features. Love the remote start feature! It came in an open frame with wheels which makes it very easy to maneuver and it is easy to operate.

after purchasing this system and other than turning it on after first purchasing it, when I attempted to start it to run it every 6 months as suggested. Came to find out after multiple attempts to contact someone that it was the ignition switch that was bad
