9500 watts was just right in order to power most of my needed household appliances during outages. unit was heavy, but is built well. no issues to date. wish it came with a 30 amp or 50 amp cord. cant beat the price point for the quality of what youre getting.

I bought this generator Jan 5th. it was easy to set up with the great directions. We had the power go out last week and the generator worked great, I use oxygen and now it doesn't matter if the power goes out we can run my compressor and the fridge no problem. Thanks

I purchased an original generator in February through Home Depot. After getting the generator delivered it was found to have significant shipping damage. We contacted the GE Customer service line and was offered replacement parts or that they would work with Home Depot to replace the machine. This is the replacement which arrived in less than 3 weeks from the original purchase. This generator was delivered in very good condition. Assembly was easy and straight forward. At this time it runs well on a test and seems to be what we were looking for. Intended use is for backup power to our home since we experience frequent outages during rough weather.

I love the remote start as well as the push button start....those are great upgrades to a generator. The welder who installed it was very impressed. Said it was the nicest one he had seen. Not as quiet as I would love like but I love it nonetheless. The upgrades make up for the noise.

Having recently lost my husband, I needed a generator both my daughter and I could operate. We couldn't be happier with the easy push button electric start - that also works remotely. Having a powerful home outdoor generator brings invaluable peace during an otherwise chaotic event. We purchased this 9500c to increase our power to 50 amps for our newly installed plug-in breaker box. This generator was easy to assemble and moves smoothly with wheel kit that is included. Beryl may be gone, but we're on the front end of what may be a very active hurricane season. I highly recommend this generator.

Just got it up and running after delivery yesterday. Easy prep and started perfect. Showing 242 volts on meter. Remote start is so nice. Smaller and quieter than my old Honeywell 7500. Battery charger is great extra. Waiting for the 50 amp cord and transfer switch plug install before I can test it on my home. Very pleased.

I have been debating on purchasing a generator and I finally decided to purchase one. After researching several different generators, I chose this one due to great reviews and a great price. Assembly is easy and very easy to start. I did a test run with it and it seems to be perfect for me.

This is my first gas generator purchased in late October. I did quite some online research and decided to go with this brand and model based on our house needs. I am not a handy person yet I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. I set up the wheels and filled up the gas tank, connected the battery then ready to start. It took me a few minutes to realize that I didn't put the gas valve to the "On" position. The electric start really made the start so simple. I let it ran for an hour to help break a little bit. Very satisfied with the experience of getting started. Now I have the generator wired to the panel by an electric engineer and expect it to run the whole house except the AC.
