Very disappointed

Having the bike put together tonight only to discover that the seat was not included in the box. Instead I received 2 backs. Also it is taking over 2 hours for my brother to assemble. I think I'm done with online purchases at least for a while. Sooo mad right now!!!

Bike is too big for petite people

I bought this bike after researching online several bike products. Unfortunately the bike is too big even on the shortest leg length. I can barely reach the pedals even when I scoot up to the tip of the seat. (Even the model on this website is sitting awkwardly closer to the front of the seat). I should've used better judgment. (For reference I am just under 5 feet.)

Good product

It took 2 retired ladies in their 70's two hrs to put together, not bad. There was a real glitch inserting the slide that the seat attached to and some adjustments had to be made with a carpenters file. There doesn't seem to be much tension going from 1 to 7. I only want this to improve my leg strength for getting up and improve my walking and it's done the trick ~ BUT if a younger person really wanted to build leg muscles I'm not sure this is for you. The price is right and overall I'm pleased.

Not for large people

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Recumbent bike took me and my wife about a hour and 15 minutes to assemble. It came with a little damage to the plastic covering and a tear in the foam covering the handle bars though the box wasn't damaged so it must have happened at the factory. No big deal. Because I'm a very large person this recumbent didn't work out for me. It was given to me for free to try out so i was hoping I could get some use out of it. The #1 problem is the seat cushion as it feels like your sitting on a board. Even someone under 200 lbs. will be uncomfortable. There is no seat height adjustment however there is a quick release knob to adjust leg length. It was impossible for me to reach it while sitting. To adjust your leg length you pull on the knob and push back or slide down. If your short legged like me, It bends your knees at a very uncomfortable angle in able to reach the pedals for full cycle motion with your feet. Another problem is the bars you hold on to on the right and left sides are too close to you if you're large and they need to be farther apart. Also the seat is very wobbly due to the way the seat support fastens or "floats" inside the rear main frame. Pros- I like the monitor that shows the Speed,Time, Calories,Odometer & Distance. This model might be okay as a low priced entry level recumbent for people under 160 lbs.

Fine...at first

I got this for my dad but the resistance was too hard on low setting. Well, it was fine at first but strokes got harder. This really bothers me because a recumbent bike can be GREAT for the knees but not with too much resistance. It turns out the vheap belt inside was misaligned and stripping on each stroke, which would explain why the resistance was so hard on low setting. What a letdown, waste of money, and motivation sapper as it was the first time I got him interested in exercising. Would I buy this brand again. No way.

Good value

It took longer than estimated to arrive by a little over a week from original date; by w/ the virus shutdown, it's understandable. My wife and I have both used it several times and are both pleased w/ it. Quite sturdy for an inexpensive piece of home equipment. Set up wasn't bad either. Despite some concerns over being comfortable for people of wide ranges in height we have found no real issue. I'm 6'2" and my wife is 5'1" and it accommodates us both well. There may be one or two minor wish items for this bike, but again, they're minor. I'm pleased enough w/ the product that I would consider another piece of equipment from this manufacturer.

Marcy Magnetic Recumbent Cycle

I just picked up this bike today at Walmart (12/12/16) it was not due until the 15th, It took me just under an hour to assemble. The instructions were very clear and the illustrations were great. All parts were there. I am 66 y.o.a. and assembled it all by myself, but I will count that time as my first workout. Product seems very well made and of sturdy construction it easily supports my 6' 230 lb. frame. It is very silent during operation and smooth to operate. Only time will tell if it holds up. I am very satisfied with the product, especially at the price.

Since I am 82 years old, I bought it for my circulation, since I live in Florida it is to hot, in the summer, to walk. I like the comfortable seat and back, they are padded. I also like the variations in tension. There is nothing I don't like about my cycle.

Take a chance, if you need exercise this is it

I did not want to train for a marathon, I only wanted to get my heart rate up and to have common sense exercise everyday. This is the perfect machine for those that need exercise, but can't use their knees or hips the way they used to and they were young. There are eight settings of resistance, plenty to choose from. You can take it easy, or you can exert yourself. It is very comfortable, and sturdy. Putting it together was not fun, but if you get the mindset to just sit down and do it calmly, it takes a couple of hours. It is worth the time and the aggravation. It sits in the corner of my bedroom nicely, and if I need to I can move it. It is smooth, and I have had no trouble. I like the simple screen settings to tell the time, distance, calories burned and speed. That's all I need. I won't go to the gym, so this is perfect. You can sit back and watch TV if you want or listen to music while you pump. I'm very pleased with it, and I was skeptical about ordering it. Took me several weeks to talk myself into ordering it because I had to put it together, and then I didn't know for sure it would be any good. It's worth the chance, the price is great, I would recommend it

Nice Recumbent Bike

Great online order experience as my Marcy Recumbent Bike was not due for another two days. Receiving it early was quite a pleasant surprise. Assembling the bike by myself was super easy for this 65 year old grandma. The flywheel on this bike is really smooth, easy to pedal, and the bike is super quiet while using. No need to turn the volume up on my TV or wear my wireless headset like I do when using my Nordic Track Treadmill or Nordic Track Rower. The 8 levels of resistance offers challenging workouts for every fitness level. The LCD screen keeps track of your time, distance, and calories. The adjustable padded seats are big and comfortable and padded foam handles are comfortable on your hands. Another plus is that this bike has wheels lets you roll it to wherever you desire to use it. Very happy to add this bike to my home gym.
