After 2 hours of putting this bike together the computer didn't work. The computer is a cheap plastic piece. Trying to peddle this bike it skips for the first two turns. I had a less expensive upright bike that I replaced with this Marcy one. Not at all happy with this purchase . If there was a way to return it I would. Money wasted.

I did not want to train for a marathon, I only wanted to get my heart rate up and to have common sense exercise everyday. This is the perfect machine for those that need exercise, but can't use their knees or hips the way they used to and they were young. There are eight settings of resistance, plenty to choose from. You can take it easy, or you can exert yourself. It is very comfortable, and sturdy. Putting it together was not fun, but if you get the mindset to just sit down and do it calmly, it takes a couple of hours. It is worth the time and the aggravation. It sits in the corner of my bedroom nicely, and if I need to I can move it. It is smooth, and I have had no trouble. I like the simple screen settings to tell the time, distance, calories burned and speed. That's all I need. I won't go to the gym, so this is perfect. You can sit back and watch TV if you want or listen to music while you pump. I'm very pleased with it, and I was skeptical about ordering it. Took me several weeks to talk myself into ordering it because I had to put it together, and then I didn't know for sure it would be any good. It's worth the chance, the price is great, I would recommend it

I bought this bike after researching online several bike products. Unfortunately the bike is too big even on the shortest leg length. I can barely reach the pedals even when I scoot up to the tip of the seat. (Even the model on this website is sitting awkwardly closer to the front of the seat). I should've used better judgment. (For reference I am just under 5 feet.)

Everything was clearly marked and easy to associate with the included directions. The tools are provided but I prefer my powered driver. It took me exactly one hour to assemble and the only problem I had was that one of the seat tabs was bent and had to be straightened, other than that everything was well packed and padded. There is a manual online just in case you lose yours and a toll free number if you need help or parts. The wheels on the front make it easy to move around. For a 150.00$ means it's not the cheapest or the most expensive but for someone needing a good bike, this fits the price. The step through design makes it easier to use, especially for those using it for rehab or for the elderly. It did take a little while to get used to the recumbent position when you have ridden upright cycles, but once you get everything adjusted it's easy to operate and the tension knob is easy to use. The seat is okay, but could use more padding, and easy to adjust and I'm 6'3", someone under 5' may have trouble reaching the pedals. The easy-to-read computer requires 2 AA batteries and displays speed, distance, time, and calories burned with a single button but the calorie checker may not match up to your actual results.

Easy to assemble. Took my time. Flimsy connection for the monitor to record exercise. Although mine isn’t connected and it would be too much of s hassle to disassemble to fix I am using the bike and getting the results I want. I use my iPhone to record timing. Great for using during the cold weather season

My wife is using it daily she say it's comfortable due to the adjustable seat. The resistance levels is another good feature for first time users as we are. It looks cheap and but just what we need.

Bought for senior parents! They love it! Low to get off and on. Handles placed in multiple positions. Seat us all the way up and just fits her. They love it and use it! It’s a go!!!

I have mobility issues and I am able to safely get on and off of it. I am now able to get some cardio activity. The only con is the seat while I love the size it is not soft and I have to use a seat cushion on it.

Fairly easy to put together, but once I figured out how to align the holes setup was a breeze. Quiet, smooth and easy riding. I'm falling in love with my stationary bike more each day, thanks Marcy/Walmart

Please tell me why this Marcy exercise bike is $239.97 and the Marcy NS-1206R is only $198.57? Both bikes don’t have the pulse sensors on them so can you tell me why this bike the NS1201R is $239.97? Thank you
