I feel that they could do better with letting people choose their fillings. The fillings used are so generic and way too sweet. Variety is the key to success, would definitely increase sales. I will admit the decor is very nice but still not sure if I would buy cakes from here again.

Ordered a simple white 2 tier cake from picture off the website for my daughter’s wedding. Picture showed no piping & should have been cake on cake. Frosting was all pockmarked & had 2 thick pieces of cardboard & plastic in between the layers. I told the guy it was awful. He said I can put icing as trim to cover the ugly center boards. I said they shouldn’t be there. He said cake would collapse. I said my daughter didn’t want piping & it should look like picture. I used to decorate cakes. Told him the cake wouldn’t collapse. I also said she doesn’t want piping, but if he could give me extra frosting I could maybe smooth out the poorly done existing frosting job. He said he couldn’t give me frosting…but he could pipe it. Again, daughter did not want piping. Wedding was next morning so we were stuck with an awful cake. About a half hour before guests arrived at her reception next day. She & I were literally reconstructing the cake. Absolutely ridiculous! Since I had done cakes before, I helped her remove the ugly pieces of cardboard & plastic that were showing. Put additional buttercream, that I had made, on to the cake & we did a scrape method to remove the pockmarks. Took some of her faux flowers from her decorations & added to the cake….all while guests were showing up. Would not recommend Sam’s Cub for cake. Such a bad experience!

My daughter chose a destination wedding. I purchased a 2 tier cake for her to have as a wedding cake. It was so convenient… I placed the order in advance online,picked it up the morning of the wedding. It worked out perfect.The guests were so impressed with the flavor. I ordered it with white buttercream icing… I placed a few flowers that matched the wedding colors and it looked amazing.

I ordered this cake 4 days before my daughter's intimate wedding. It was done all online. The cake was ready when promised. It looked amazing. I was impressed with how beautiful it looked. I ordered vanilla on top and chocolate on the bottom. It tasted as good as it looked. I would definitely recommend Sam’s Club for this cake!

This cake was for my granddaughter who turned 17 yrs. old. The cake was decorated beautifully. It was so moist and delicious. One layer was white cake, and the other layer was chocolate. Some of the guest asked for white and some asked for chocolate. After eating their first preference they came back for the opposite flavor of the first kind they had. Some of the guest wanted to know which Sam's Club we used.

For the price and quality of the cake, you can’t go wrong with the two tier cake. I had shopped around for a cake for a baby shower and was given unrealistic prices. I went with Sam’s Club and purchased small decorations to put on the cake separately. Everyone loved it! I really enjoy that you are able to choose your own color scheme to personalize the cake.

I ordered this cake for our small wedding ceremony and picked it up the morning of. I'd ordered plain white (no borders) as we were going to add a few fresh flowers on the cake here and there for a simple look. However, when I picked up the cake I didn't notice until I unpacked it at our venue that the cardboard was showing under the second tier and it was impossible to cover up. I would have had to put flowers all around the cake to cover it which is not what I wanted to do. Of course, I was beyond stressed since it was the day of of our wedding and the bakery department offered nothing when my daughter called to explain the situation. They basically said "well, you ordered a cake with no borders so that's how it comes." No ma'am. Look at the picture online that has no borders and you CANNOt see the cardboard. I was furious but at that point, it was too late and we made due. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the cake was delicious but didn't get professional photos of our cake because the cardboard was so obvious. Lesson learned.

Horrible! Rude service, cake was embarrassing to bring to event. The Top piece was not centered. Cardboard between layers not hidden. I ordered chocolate %26 vanilla cake.. both cakes were vanilla. The icing was not neatly smeared on. I Could not order the whipped icing online %26 when I called to ask I was rudely told not changes can be made other than what is offered online. . When we took off the top cake it removed all icing from bottom layer due to the way they smashed it down in the bottom layer. I have always ordered Sam’s cakes and will be ordering from another business in the future. The website won’t allow pics to be uploaded but they will be as soon as it will allow

We bought this 2 tier cake for a wedding. Sam's communicated clearly with me to double check the decorations that I wanted on the cake. The cake was delicious and beautiful! When the costs for everything wedding are through the roof it was great to get a cake so reasonably priced.

We ordered a two-tier white cake with plain white frosting from Sam’s Club for our son's wedding and decorated it ourselves. The cake was absolutely delicious! So many guests at the reception commented on how good it was and kept asking where we got it from. It was moist, flavorful, and perfect for a wedding cake. We couldn’t have been happier with the quality and taste—Sam’s Club truly exceeded our expectations.
