I wish I had paid attention to wether or not this was always Member's Mark or if it was some other brand before. We've bought a lot of it and use it to slice and eat with crackers and other items right off the block. We never used it for melting. We noticed the package change but bought it as usual. When we tried it we were extremely disappointed. This was the most flavorless block of cheese we've ever had. We ended up buying a block of cheese at the grocery store and shredding the Member's Mark one up to melt on food because we didn't want to just throw it away. We haven't tried it again after that. We may give it a little while and see if it was just a fluke or if it's just another subpar Member's Mark product we need to avoid.

The cheese has more moisture than I would prefer, but it tastes fine and is a great value.

Sadly, the quality of Members Mark Brand continues to decrease across all products. This was a preferred item for our family. Now it's lacking in flavor, and "moist" like cheese product instead of dry like good quality cheese. Yet another of our staple items we have stopped buying from Sams Club.

I purchased this cheese several times and was happy with it until today. I opened a new package today and cheese was covered with mold. It was purchased 2-3 ago and kept in fridge. It is September now, expiration date is January 2024. I don't know if I can trust the fresheners of Sam's club products.
