I do I know what it takes to be called king crab but they were very small.

They are good but not like the Alaskan king crab we used to get

Very salty and not a hint of sweetness

tasted old and freezer burn, bought two bags and know returning this to Sam's would be a pain!

$25/lb March 2026. Really good value. Taste is very good almost indistinguishable from Alaskan king crab. Size is of restaurant/high grade SNOW CRAB. These are very tiny for king crab. However, for the price they are a great value versus Sam's snow crab or anyone else's crab legs online. Higher grade snow crab is going for $30-$40/lb near me and is the same size as these king crab. The southern King Crab is a bargain in my opinion. I steamed them for 7 minutes and all the meat came out perfectly. Of the 2lb bag, 90% is meat.

Don't think you are getting anything comparable to King Crab Legs. These have little meat, tough and no taste.

I will definitely buy these again! The amount for the price was great and they were pre cracked. The flavor was amazing
