Tried and true classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Drakkar since high school, and I still really like it. It smells clean, a little spicy, and always gets good comments. It brings back great memories and still feels like the right cologne for me. A classic scent that never gets old.

Not my scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my scent at all. It reminds me of an old man’s aftershave. I was also a bit disappointed in the packaging it came all smashed up and I had to do my best to revive it for the photos. The spray bottles they put the samples in work well though! I’m also just not a fan of toilette colognes personally they wear off far too early in the day.

Classic men’s fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guy Laroche’s Drakkar Noir is a classic that wears its heritage proudly, starting with its sleek matte black bottle that feels both mysterious and masculine. The minimalist design is iconic in its own right—understated, but instantly recognizable, like a tailored suit that doesn’t need to shout to be noticed. Where Drakkar Noir really stands out is in its versatility. Despite its strong personality, it transitions surprisingly well from day to night. There’s something timeless about its blend of lavender, leather, and pine that makes it just as fitting for a sharp business meeting as it is for a late dinner. It leans more fall and winter than summer, but it’s not so heavy that it can’t be pulled off year-round with a confident hand. In terms of scent strength, this isn’t a background fragrance. A couple of sprays announce your arrival and linger well into the evening. Its projection is commanding without being suffocating—noticeable at arm’s length for the first few hours, then slowly mellowing into a more intimate scent. Sillage is where Drakkar Noir holds onto its old-school charm. It leaves a strong trail, especially in the first few hours, which may be a bit too bold for some, but perfect for those who want to make a lasting impression. It’s a scent that doesn’t just sit on the skin—it moves with you. For those who appreciate a fragrance with depth, history, and a bit of edge, Drakkar Noir still earns its place on the shelf. It’s not trying to follow modern trends—it sets its own tone and expects you to rise to meet it.

A classic scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A true classic for me. Smells good not my first choice. Perhaps a good classic for older man but it smells good. Projection I felt wasnt too strong. Warm or cooler weather scent to me. The packaging I can't say much as it just came in a little glass tester.

A trip down scent memory lane!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A powerhouse of the 80s and a scent firmly lodged in my scent memory bank. While the modern iteration is not the oakmoss bomb that the 80s version was, it's still the same recognizable Drakkar Noir DNA. I would actually say this is more wearable than the 80s version likely would be today. The wife and I are both Gen X and found the sample pleasant while not overpowering.

Strong earthy notes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice scent. It’s a strong smell of earthy scents. Not one of my favorites but I do like it. To me it gives off the office vibe and not a night on the town. I would have it for my meetings and interviews.

Decent product for its value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this product, I am only giving it 3 stars for the comments from my girl friend (she’s the boss haha). In my opinion, this is a solid old school fragrance. Toy can’t beat the value for money and it last decently. As mentioned before, I don’t give more stars because my gf told me that I was smelling like his grandpa! Haha That doesn’t mean this product is bad, but definitely is not what you would like to hear, specially when you are young.

The classic barbershop scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The classic, what else can I say. Clean, green and fresh. The one and only barber scent. If you want to smell good for a budget this cool water or nautica voyage are your choices and they’re good choices as well. Can’t go wrong with this one.

Great smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir, and I have to say—this is a seriously good scent for men. Right from the first spray, I noticed how bold and masculine it is. It opens with a mix of lavender and citrus that feels fresh, but then it settles into a deeper, woody vibe with hints of pine and leather. It’s the kind of cologne that makes you feel confident and put-together. I wore it out in the evening, and it lasted for hours without fading. Honestly, it feels classic without being outdated. If you’re into strong, timeless fragrances that leave an impression, Drakkar Noir is a solid pick. I’m really glad I gave it a shot.
