When you need to stretch this cheese sauce for a crowd, add milk a little at a time and stir, stir, stir until you get a smooth consistency. For canned cheese, it’s good, but a little thick for our taste. When we had milk, it comes out perfect.

I love nacho cheese. No, I mean I LOVE nacho cheese. Dip some fries in the cheese. Put it on your chips. Make double decker tacos. I love nacho cheese. But my frugal heart often balked at the hefty price tag on a tiny can of cheese, so I'd often go without. One day, I saw this massive can of my favorite brand and wondered... could I FREEZE this cheese? Would it be good when I thawed it out? Well, my friends, I took the $10 hit to experiment, and I'm happy to say that YES, you can freeze this cheese, and YES, it's just as good when thawed and reheated! Here's what I do... I use Great Value Quart Freezer Bags and put about 16oz into each bag. I put all of those bags into a large GV Gallon Freezer Bag and put them all in the freezer. Bam! Now I have 6 pounds of glorious cheese waiting for me whenever the whim strikes. If I know that I want cheese tomorrow, I'll thaw it in the fridge overnight, but generally I will put it in a bowl still frozen solid and warm it slowly, with the defrost function of the microwave, stirring every few minutes. Generally, this will take 10-15 minutes, but that's okay, because nobody wants scorched nacho cheese! It looks gross at first, but trust the process, it will come together again! Once thoroughly thawed and slightly warmed up, I may add a touch of milk to thin it out, and then cook on 70% power until it's hot and bubbly and ready for whatever needs a blanket of cheesy love.

I love this nacho cheese sauce. Perfect flavor! I use this for nachos, but also in tacos. I added it in the burritos I meal prepped and froze. I froze the extra sauce in small containers for future use and it did not affect the texture or consistency of it at all. While the size of this seems extreme, it's a much better value for your money, and again, it freezes perfectly.

We use this cheese sauce for church gatherings, and it’s perfect when you’re feeding a crowd! I just put it in the crockpot to warm and serve, which makes things so easy. Great for nachos and other party foods, and the large can goes a long way!

This is a HUGE CAN of yummy gooey cheese sauce . Its exactly like those small-more expensive "brand name" cheese dips but with its huge quantity and low price it saves money. Im keeping a lot in my food storage pantry for emergencies or shortages. It's a great comfort food to spread on canned beans ,tortillas or pizza type meals or chips and dip for a large family . The huge heavy duty can could also be modified into a great emergency candle or hobo cook stove for emergencies for outdoor use only of course . I purchased this product for a back to school swim party in August. It was definitely a hit at the party because as we know most teens like nachos. The cheese was very flavorful not too thin and not too thick. It is made with real cheddar cheese and no artificial flavors. The cheese was a rich spicy sauce and just what you needed for real authentic tasting nachos.

Rico cheese in the red and yellow can is a great value for the large can, and the only one I use for large parties, and events. I use the cheese sauce in my rotel dip. It saves me time, because I am able to skip the process of melting cheese. I don't care for the nacho flavored cheese in the all yellow can, but if it is the only one that is available, I add jalapeño juice to get the flavor that I want.

The Cheese is good and has good flavor. Giving 2 starts due to the condition the cans were in once arrived. Third time buying this cheese online, first arrived in perfect condition, box was the accurate size for package and had no damage to cans. Second time there was no packaging material and all cans were heavily dented. Had to return this shipment to store.Third shipment had very little packaging and the cans were slightly dented. I was still able to use the third shipment, will not buy cans online again due to the uncertainty on the condition once arrived.
