Never did I imagine the water being in direct contact with the solid plastic exterior. Thought it would be glass or steel inside a plastic casing. Left wondering if chemicals could leach into the water during use?

KETTLE HEATS QUICKLY BUT MAKES A VERY HIGH PITCHED NOISE THE ENTIRE TIME IT IS ON. (IT IS NOT THE WATER BOILING NOISE) THE NOISE HURTS MY EARS AND IS REALLY TOO LOUD FOR AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT.

I washed the kettle in soapy water, left it outside overnight, and boiled water several times. The strong plastic chemical-like smell was still there and I could taste it in my tea. The water boils fast though! I returned it.

It heats quickly and helps reduce my gas bill!

It's the right size, it heats the water quickly and is easy to fill and pour water out of.

Heated the water quickly. I like the amount of water that it holds which is 57 oz.
