Don’t listen to the people online

I had an xbox one x before this which was the most recent at the time. This console is super fast and really nice graphics and clear improvements from the one x. This is great for me until I can get the series x when it’s cheaper and easy to get. Such a good console and really worth the money. People wanna knock this xbox because it’s not the series x but it is still a big improvement all around.

Great console, not so great storage

This is a great console but my only concern is it’s ability to run games that require a big amount of power. Also since games require so much storage now, you need to buy the expansion card if you want to have more than 6-7 games. And at that point you might as well buy the series x. I feel like this is a great console but if you are looking to have this console for the same amount of time as you may have had the Xbox one then I’d recommend getting the series x, but you do you, both are great consoles.

Hi Kaden -- Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your Xbox Series S. If you're playing older Xbox games that haven't been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S, another storage option is to add an external hard drive. Games that aren't enhanced for Xbox Series X/S may be stored and played directly from an external drive, freeing up your SSD for enhanced games. Hope that helps! --Chuck, Xbox Customer Care

The Little Machine that Could!

Fantastic Gamepass machine. I have a 1080p tv so I did not see the point in getting the series X. At first I was concerned with the 364GB space limit. But those fears were unfounded as I was still able to install 10 games. Another benefit is the console is tiny. Its super easy to put in a backpack and travel. Highly recommend the Series S

It’s great but the storage

The price is good and good quality I have a small desk and it’s a little bigger than the wii I also picked up the gamepass ultimate and I have a lot of game my on issues are I got the 500 gb model and cod warzone takes up like 20 percent of the storage and so does forza horizon 4 I download like 6 or 7 games and it’s already 50 Percent full storage

Hi Nicolas -- We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox Series S. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. One solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S. The best option, though, is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. Comes in really late

I ordered this back in November 27th for my sons birthday/Christmas and item is coming in January and I dont know why it is taking so long. Console is great I saw him playing on his uncles Xbox series s and it was fun but I do not think it is worth 2 months of waiting.

Got it and its amazing!!!

Started playing with this yesterday and my gosh is it one heck of a console! it's so good to play with the series s and not only that but the controller is so good that they almost didn't change anything to it (the controller was already perfect years ago so they only made stuff like the d pad better) and the console just runs so amazing and i wouldn't have change anything to this console cause it's perfect.

BAD HDMI OUTPUT

When i first got this series S the HDMI output was finicky. It would every once in a while flash off while playing something, as if the hdmi cord was disconnected. It wasnt too unbearable at first but it has progressively gotten worse, and now just over 3 months with it, it has pooped out conpletely. I have tried like 5 different HDMI cables, and different screens, so i know for a fact its the HDMI output. You can see in my photo below, which is after 3 months of owning it, that there isn't any damage to it, so it must be something internal. I just put in to to customer service to see of they would exchange it for a new one. I will update my review if they oblige.

Fantastic!!

I purchased my Xbox Series S two years ago and I am proud to say that it is still doing amazing! It is good quality and never has any issues downloading games that I want to play or troubleshooting. Very small and compact so I can take it on the go and the best part is it requires no disk, so all my games are safe on my system!

My favorite system I've owned, GR8 build quality

I got my Series S from a different retailer, pre-ordered mine on September 22nd, got it on launch day, this is a phenomenal console, I'm an IT by trade and can tell you to just trust me that the Series S will maintain momentum through this entire new generation. Its raw GPU compute specs make it sound much less powerful than it really is, you have to read and be able to understand what every nitty gritty spec on the system is to get the real picture on it's true capabilities. Yes of course the Series X is more powerful, but the Series S will be able to hold it's own. It's honestly my favorite system I've ever had, I love the size and look of it, it runs completely silent yet that massive cooling fan blows quite a bit of hot air that it's removing from the heatsink and thus the SoC. I have watched several teardown videos and the console is so well built and engineered. And you get all this for the same price as a Nintendo Switch. It fully Supports the AMD RDNA 2 GPU Feature Sets which they actually delayed the start of production on both Xbox Series systems just so they could support them. PS5 supports none of the RDNA 2 feature sets.

Not next gen!

Please just get a next gen. Not a current gen with a ssd and 1440p resolution. Stupidest thing and is basically a slim version, not a all digital. If it was the console would have been the same as series x. But no, it's a current gen console nothing more.
