Super fast shipping.

Still in the box. I do not play video games, but the reviews on the graphics for this unit seem favorable. A lot cheaper than the other new X-Box release and I imagine I can add a 2TB external drive if the kids need to save avatars and so forth. Shipped really fast, like 3 days fast, that was surprising.

Great Performance at a Great Price.

Honestly this console is great. It has really good performance for the price range. It loads up games like GTA Online way faster than the xbox one s. The only down side is space, as 512 GB is not nearly enough space for games these days. And the internal storage expansion is pretty pricey at $200. But if you dont want to pay the $900 that everyone is asking for the Series X, this is the console for you.

Hey Nathan--We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox Series S. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. The best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console. Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S. -Chuck, Xbox Customer Care

Great console nice parental controls.

It's a nice system for the price. Just bear in mind that you will need a Xbox Gaming subscription. If you look around you can find deals on those subscriptions. Microsoft also has a family control options to limit how much time the kid(s) can spend on the device.

Xbox sieries s

I was just like you guys at one point. Trying to see if the console was good or not. In my opinion, there is barely a difference from the Series x and s. So in all it is worth the money and you should 110%buy if you are trying to get a low budget console. Graphics are great and it only will take a week or week and a half to arrive at your front porch.

Would 10/10 recommend

If you play a lot of games and care about 4K resolution then get the X. If you don't play a lot of games and only rotate between 2-4 games and dont care for 4K resolution then this bad boy is for you, the S still runs at 1440p so even without 4K the graphics and gameplay are really crisp. I was on PS4 last for last gen then I made the switch to Xbox for the New Gen, what really sold me on the Series S was the DESIGN the price tag was just the icing on the cake for me.

Can't Beat for the Price!

All in all, the Series S is a GREAT entry level console! No, it doesn't support 4K gaming, but the 1440P resolution looks very good on my 60Hz TV and the load times are MUCH faster. I have several Xbox One games installed on an external SSD, and the load times are very quick for the non optimized games as well!

Insane value, amazing gameplay, quiet, handsome af

Fantastic gaming system that excels in areas its rival falls short. Based on the launch consoles only Microsoft comes out on top, starting with the more affordable price tag. The Xbox Series S at $300 is seriously insane value for what its capable of. More so than the PS5 Digital, which is solid in its own right but falls short of the Series S in a number of ways. Personally, I think the series S is more aesthetically pleasing than the series X with its design and size; it is surprisingly small and lightweight but still somehow stays totally silent during gameplay. There are many things to boast about this console and Microsoft, for paying attention to the community and giving the gamers what they really want. For the Sonybois: I couldnt care less if they were different before, what matters is how they are now. Microsoft has proved themselves for this generation while Sony fights against widely requested features like cross-play for nothing more than their own self-interests. The Xbox series S|X are the current best consoles on the market and Microsoft seems to focus on improving them constantly. Plus, GAME PASS. That should be enough of a reason to get Xbox considering your game pass applies to PC as well. Its no question in my mind, this is absolutely worth it (from someone that got all Microsoft and Sony consoles at launch) and you wont regret it when Halo comes out and teabagging returns to its former glory days.

Great system but storage is a issue.

I liked everything about this console other then it has no storage. Xbox could do a better job with storage since its a digital edition. I guess that would make to much sense though. It makes no sense that a external hard drive would cost 200. They should so make it where any hard drive will work with x and s games.

Am entry level PC at this point

Amazing what this thing can do. Needs more Series S/X optimized games though. It feels more awake than any console in the past. Menus are quick well optimized games load ridiculously fast, frame rate and resolution are fantastic. 1440p upscaled with my LG 4K TV looks almost like 4K on the One X, which the Series S is replacing. It’s dumb fast, I’m sure the Series X is just that much better. Since I cant build a new PC thanks to the shortages, -everyone already knows how hard this is to get- this will have to do since the games I play with friends are cross platform anyway. This begins to level the playing field as the performance limits on cross platform games usually is too taxing on consoles and takes away from overall playability compared so someone on PC. I only wish I could have got the Series X, but those are even harder to catch than an S.

Couldn't be happier!

I live this little machine. I'm a casual gamer and only like certain kinds of games like Call of Duty, Gears, Halo etc. My monitor is 1440p and 165hz so I don't really care about 4k. And from how far I sit from it, the difference would be miniscule. I doubt I'll ever have so many games that my storage will run out. I have game pass and can delete and install games as I please. This thing is fast. And on my 1440p monitor I get 120 fps and it's amazing. It's so quiet too and I love how it looks. Overall, unless you're a hard-core gamer and have a 4k TV that can do 120fps(they're expensive) then this little guy is perfect.
