pros: - headphone jack!!! im glad at least some companies arent cutting headphone jacks from their budget phones... - microsd card slot!!! hard to find on phones these days. yaaaaayyy!!! (although i wish i didnt need to eject the sim tray to access it...) - inexpensive, pretty good value - easy to repair!!! screen, headphone jack + charging port, and battery are easy to replace :3 though samsung doesnt sell replacement parts :( - battery life is great!! when i first got it a full charge would last 2 days, now it's only like one day but that's good enough for me. it does charge slow, but i think the battery life makes this excusable 👍 also the slow charging will preserve the lifespan of the battery - big screen makes it easier to type, also the screen looks pretty nice for not being oled, though its a little blue tinted - supports the wireless carrier i use :D cons: - NOT oem unlockable... would be excusable if this phone had stock android, but oneui core is really bad... - camera is not all that good, and if you move the phone slightly after taking photos they turn out blurry + it takes a while for the photos to process after their taken, even with image quality on the lowest setting. not very good for dog pictures... - screen is unresponsive, may be a common issue since ive seen other people say the same thing :/ it will lock up and the only way to get it to work is to turn the screen on and off. my screen isnt even damaged - the back of the phone has a texture that makes it slippery, so it falls out of my hand with no case, but with literally any case, the phone becomes too big to put in most pants pockets... - too much bloatware. too much samsung apps like "ar emoji" and "modes and routines" that are unnecessary but can't be removed. also theres duplicates of essentially the same apps: google and samsung internet, google messages and samsung messages, onedrive and google drive, etc. you cant delete them either, which takes up too much of the already limited storage. plus, it comes with WAY too many apps that you can uninstall, but its really annoying. all this is just a samsung thing though. - fingerprint reader is annoying. it doesnt work when i want to unlock my phone, but the one time i want to just go to the lock screen, it unlocks my phone - on android 14, elements of the ui were updated in a way that makes them harder to see on dark mode, especially if you have reduce transparency and blur turned on. the contrast between ui elements is too low... conclusion: good value, and phones with headphone jack + sd card slot + user repairability are hard to find, so im glad this phone has all those features. unfortunately this phone is kind of ruined by samsungs software...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the most important feature for a phone would be the ability to make phone calls. 5g performance is so horrible I had to disable it. 4g 50/50 chance of connecting on the first try. WiFi calling can only speak on speakerphone otherwise other party cannot hear me. I am bombarded by notifications for Samsung apps,deals,equipment. Guys,Gals,Theys,Thems, the other stuff is useless if the one basic function of a phone is overlooked. This phone has completely missed the mark in its one most important job which is to MAKE PHONE CALLS!! It will take plenty of convincing for me to purchase another Samsung product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for work, watch videos, manage my finances, do surveys and play games. There are only a few things I would change about my phone. When I'm browsing the internet and doing surveys the webpages look as if the screen is zoomed out, making it difficult to read the content. In contrast, some of the webpages look as if the screen is zoomed out. I have to go to the settings on my phone to either zoom in or zoom out in order to see the webpage's content. Also, there are pre-installed apps on my phone that take up a considerable amount of my phone's storage and memory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung a14 has been an awesome device. I haven't had any issues with with it and it runs nice and smoothly. When it comes to gaming, I have seen some lagging but not too much and it's only once in a while. The camera takes good pictures and videos. I do notice it takes a while for the phone to capture a picture and to start recording video. I am happy that it has expandable memory because I take a lot of pictures and videos. This phone is durable. I have dropped it many times and the phone doesn't even have a scratch on it. It is affordable. The front facing camera is good I do a lot of video chatting and it works great. I don't get blurry or laggy zoom calls. Over all I would give this phone a 8 out of 10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung Galaxy A14 kind of suck for streaming for pretty much anything. I guess it's okay for somebody not going to care if they have service half the time or not I have to keep turning on my airplane mode and then back off just to get service sometimes and then also sometimes it'll say I don't have a SIM card and I do. Another thing when I'm trying to message someone it will pop up that my keyboard needs to be updated but it doesn't. This phone has a lot of cons I should have looked at before buying.

I've had this phone for about 6 months. I would have better luck with 2 paper cups and a long string. This phone has it's own mind. If it wants to open an app it does it, I don't even have to be touching it. I have clicked on the clock app and the news app opens. I have literally had things happen on this phone that I don't even know how to make happen. The other day I couldn't hang up the phone because the button wouldn't work. I've dialed numbers and couldn't connect because the button wouldn't work. I've dialed numbers where you have to press 1 for this and 2 for that and the option I needed didn't work. Before I got this one I had one just like it and had to send it back for another because calls kept getting disconnected.

They said free, however, I pay monthly and cannot upgrade until it has been paid in full, so can you really call that free?? Anyways, the phone is great as far as all of the Samsung options I love. I just can tell the difference between my Galaxy S phones compared to the Galaxy A. The battery dies fast and sometimes dies while its plugged in. Lately, when I plug it in, it flashes the lightning bolt circle showing it is plugged in over and over and won't start charging sometimes as long as 20 minutes. Right now I'm plugged in, its at 7% and was at 10% when I started writing this review. So I'm not happy with this phone so far and want to get another S series...
