I live in Florida and have an older generator that needed to be updated. I researched many different ones and decided on this model. I did not realize that this model has remote star which works very well. I hooked up propane after assembling and putting oil in it and it fired up and ran very smooth. I used it to power a TV and a couple fans just to test it out and everything worked great, runs quiet also. Hope I don't have to use it, but feel a little better knowing I have a great little generator ready to go if I need it.

Easy assembly except battery was a little tricky to install Noise level much better then we expected took a while to start on Propane but started right up after 2nd try. Easy to move around came with all you need to use straight away oil wrenches etc.

I ordered this generator in preparation for hurricane season but shortly after buying it needed a generator to power a house that was having electrical problems. This generator ran for over three days, powered a large window AC unit, a fridge, and some power strips for chargers and such. It ran smooth and provided everything we needed. Can't beat that for the price. Great that it comes with the tools because the spark plug would be hard to get to otherwise. Handle is awesome for moving it around. Great product so far!

I bought this a few days ago and expecting to have some minor blemishes based on reviews I read, due to transport. Fortunately, I found none and even the carton it came in was in really good shape. I guess, I need to thank the delivery guy. I took a visual inspection and everything looks good. It is a good looking machine. After reading the manual, set-up was easy enough, had no problem installing the wheels and connecting the battery. Took it outside and add the oil and put on some gas. It took three tries before it start with the push button (maybe gas is cycling). Next try is no problem, start right up and try with the remote too, and it's good. Noise level is actually on par or better than the previous one I use. I really think it's a good machine overall and will serve my purpose. Time will tell and I will update this review after the actual use.

I've had the Westinghouse WGen3600DFcv for a bit now, and it's been a real game-changer. The dual-fuel option is a lifesaver—switching between gas and propane is super easy, especially when one runs out. It's a bit on the heavy side, but it's manageable, and the peace of mind from the CO sensor is worth it. It's not the quietest, but it's definitely not the loudest I've used. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase—reliable and convenient.

The Generator arrived just as planned in only a few days. The package and generator were in great shape. Assembly was beyond easy and Westinghouse is sending me the high altitude carb kit since i am above 6,000ft. Customer service so far has been superb. I have resurched gens. for a long time for my camper and after much research it always came back to the WGen 3600DF. Awesome machine. A no brained decision.

I was able to get it running with both petro, and gas. I was able to get the remote fob connected, and working. The manual is not perfect, so pay attention while setting her up. For example, the manual advises how to hook up the battery, but the unit came with the battery partially installed (there where two mid level wires i needed to connect together). Be advised that the unit is heavy, and produces noise level in line with this type/rate of generator.

I bought this while a hurricane was in the Atlantic heading our way. The instructions were accurate and the installation was easy. Before the storm I tested the generator using LPG. The electric starter did its thing and instantly started it up. I have read and seen other portable generators in action, this one is as good if not better than most 36K generators. I recommend it.

Just received it and started right up with propane gas. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the enclosed oil funnel was broken up on arrival (likely cause was related to some damage to the outside of the box) and also a slight discrepancy between the "quick start guide" and the user manual. The quick start guide did not mention that the battery was not attached to cables and that the engine mount was partially blocking the ability to insert the cotter pin, as well as the battery was facing the wrong way. After following said quick steps I had to revert to the manual to remove one tire so that I could remove battery to connect the battery and reinstall the tire.

Found broken plastic pieces at the bottom of the bag when unboxing. Added oil as per instructions. Followed instructions for running on propane and it fired up and ran just fine for approximately 5 mins. After shutting it down and attempting to restart awhile later it will only sputter (pop & ping) while backfiring. Will be contacting customer service for potential replacement.
