I bought this a few days ago and expecting to have some minor blemishes based on reviews I read, due to transport. Fortunately, I found none and even the carton it came in was in really good shape. I guess, I need to thank the delivery guy. I took a visual inspection and everything looks good. It is a good looking machine. After reading the manual, set-up was easy enough, had no problem installing the wheels and connecting the battery. Took it outside and add the oil and put on some gas. It took three tries before it start with the push button (maybe gas is cycling). Next try is no problem, start right up and try with the remote too, and it's good. Noise level is actually on par or better than the previous one I use. I really think it's a good machine overall and will serve my purpose. Time will tell and I will update this review after the actual use.

Own a Westinghouse generator for use at barn. So naturally went back to same brand (after great use) for back up need at home for power outage. Love the newer start feature. Went with dual fuel so not to worry about old gasoline clogging carb up in emergency. Easy assembly. From opening box to having running generator less than an hour.

I bought this generator to power my RV trailer when I go camping. And also is a great backup for my home. I am very happy with my purchase. This generator can run on either gasoline or propane. I love that it has a fuel selector switch that allows the seamless transition between fuels ensures uninterrupted power supply. This versatility is a very useful, especially during times when one fuel source might be more readily available than the other. The generator is powerful, and it can run everything I need in my RV, such as the air conditioner, refrigerator, TV, and lights. The generator has a digital meter that displays the voltage, frequency, and hours of operation. It also has a low oil shutdown feature that prevents the engine from running dry. The durable construction gives me confidence that it can withstand the rigors of outdoor use. I am very satisfied with this generator and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a dependable and versatile generator for their RV or home.

Starts, runs smoothly on propane (haven't tried gas yet as I don't plan on using it. Power output is steady. Noise level is reasonable. Unit appears sturdy and well-made. Handle for pulling is comfortable. My one complaint: The oil cap/dipstick. Location is hard to reach without getting almost flat on the ground; cap is cheap plastic and hard to thread, and already shows signs of stripping. I can tell already that's likely to be a problem. Even worse: The dipstick is essentially useless -- after screwing it in and unscrewing it, the amount of oil smeared on the stick appears to be the same no matter how high or low the oil level actually is. Also, it would be nice if the owners manual made it clearer that the ENTIRE bottle of oil that comes with the unit should be put in the engine. I tried going by the dipstick reading and ended up with too little oil. The Low Oil Cutoff saved me until I could figure out it needed the full 0.6 liters; otherwise it could have been a disaster. It's a shame to have to focus on a negative issue when the machine appears to be an excellent value otherwise, but it's annoying that the minor fixes (metal oil cap; separate dipstick that doesn't have to be screwed in) that could solve the problem haven't already been made.

Recently recevied this generator. It was eary to assemble and I liked the custom oil fill funnel. It started right up using the remote start and generated power just fine. Only issue I had with the unit was the fact that it does not have an hours of use gage.

This is my first Westinghouse generator. I really like its size - fits perfectly under my pickup's tonneau. It is very easy to start, works on propane even on high attitudes. Everything needed, including oil with a funnel, wrench for a spark plug included.

I paid good money for the generator. Once I broke it out of the box to start it up. I charged the battery since it wouldn't start remotely. I figured it would have come charged. Next day tried to start it and nothing. I charged it for 5 days and still no remote start. I've sent 4 messages to the company and haven't heard from them yet. So no I wouldn't recommend a product where the company doesn't stand behind it.

I received generator through Fedex shipping some scuffing on side . while checking snugness of parts and spark plug i found ceramic part of boot was broken. but still generator started with easy pull on rope and ran much more quiet than my 3000watt Generac purchased in 2000. I don't like propane connect fitting sticking out past the frame ,could be damaged easy making it a safety issue that's why i gave it 4 stars. I like the generator and would recommend it. but, I don' think anything is built as sturdy as it was in the past.

Nice unit to have, well built looks like Westinghouse really thought of everything. Even a battery power supply was included with it. Remote start is so cool and I tested the battery before charging it and it was fully charged (Not neglected) . Wheels are solid so is nice to know I won't have to drag the unit around with a Flat.

I picked this unit up 3 days ago and am pleased with the result. It was slow to start Initially had problems starting with LPG, but after I let it break in, it would start and stop fine with LPG. I ran it on a small amount of gasoline also and it ran much longer than my older generator would on the same amount of gas. I connected it to the garage lighting circuit for a load. That was 10 4 foot and 2 2 foot florescent regular tubes. That would have been about 440 watts. Never even had a light flicker. Easy to maneuver with the wheels and swing up handle.
