Haven't had this long enough to rate durability. This generator is easy to use, nice features compared to its counterparts. Has everything you need in the box ready to use except gas/propane. Love the auto choke, makes it easy to start. I have read the horror stories of Westinghouse's customer service, hope I don't have to use them. I gave it 4 stars because the bottom of the generator frames were bent like it had been dropped. Not sure if it happened at Westinghouse or FedEx. Still works though. More padding should be used in the boxes for shipping to prevent this from happening.

Anytime I buy anything that supposedly has an east start option, I am usually disappointed. However, this time after I prepared the generator for its virgin start, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that the push button start actually worked the first time. If it doesn't start the first go around, it automatically tries again. I went a step further and wanted to see if I could be so lucky as to have the remote start work. It actually worked, so that was a huge bonus. I am so happy for the dual fuel option because I am not a big fan of using gasoline, especially when I do not use the generator frequently.

Love the fuel flexibility, remote and power. A little heavy/awkward for one person to lift into/out of the back of the truck but I'm getting a ramp so it'll be super easy. Barely an inconvenience. A little louder than others in the campground but definitely ran everything we needed. Coffee maker, space heater, fridge, water pump, & lights. If microwave was used while heater and coffee maker were on high cycles it did overload but the remote made it super easy to recover from what was my mistake.

I bought this generator because my other generator ( not Westinghouse )would not start. It was right before a winter storm so I panicked and bought another. I thought the idea of running a generator on propane was pretty cool. The day before this one arrived , I watched some videos and got the old one running !!! So this one will run strictly on propane as the primary and other as backup on gasoline. Push button start convenient for my wife to use when I'm not home !!! Good price for the convenience / power.

I primarily plan to run this thing off propane during emergencies since propane stores better long term, but I really like having the option to run gasoline since gas can be easier to find during the cold months. The electric start option will be great if my wife needs to use it, but having the pull string really makes this thing great for emergencies. It came with a remote start keyfob, I will probably never use that feature, but it's probably great if you own an RV.

I purchased this generator because it was smaller and has a handle for easy moving . We had a problem getting it started but we got help thru customer service . We missed a step in getting it ready but after the help we got it started right away . Great product with features like electric start fur a senior like me. Nice looking machine.

Bought this about a month ago, and was delivered 2 wks before Ida came ashore in Louisiana. No power, no water (well water), and a flooded house. I'm 62 yr old widow with a bad shoulder, no way I could have pulled started a generator. Works great, as we 're on day 7 of running it (had to wait for the water to clear off the patio/driveway) let it cool down between fillups, check the oil, then it starts right up again. I only wish I had gotten a larger one that could run everything but the A/C and stove. Love my generator! Thank you for masking my life easier

Very good generator, but the unpacking instructions could be better. A red sticker says "Remove support brackets from frame before operating." It showed an illustration of an S bracket. There were no other details. It took me a while -- and a call to customer service -- to figure out that they meant. As it turns out, you must remove the 2 RED L brackets on the bottom of the frame.

This generator has everything I was looking for. My application is for use in a fifth-wheel trailer as a back-up source of power. The great thing is I can plug-in directly from the trailer's shore power cord to the generator and start it from inside remotely. Great product!!

After unpacking my first step wasn't as expected, for the record I'm a Millwright and wrench on stuff every day. Two of the nut's welded on frame were cross threaded, luckily I had the M8 tap to fix it, but totally unacceptable for a Westinghouse product, that being said this is a great product and would recommend
