I haven't had a power outage, but I have tested this generator out, and I love the features. I especially love the remote start. It is also convenient that you can switch from gas to propane while the unit is running. I think this generator is a great value for the money.

First of all, the remote key fob is worth the price of admission. And why buy the pull start model and purchase the wheels separately when you can add $30 and get this model with the wheels, electric start and remote control?? The 3600 runs about 11 hours per day at 70% load on one tankful. And powers everything in my camper including a 1500 watt heater. Just turn off the heater when you want to use the microwave. I've had mixed results with that and I'm happy to have had the remote control. But the generator runs and runs and runs. It even started up on a 18 degree morning with no trouble at all. And I expect to have this unit for years to come

I bought this generator before hurricane season in a tax free holiday for backup emergency power. Good thing I did because we are now on day five with no electricity after Hurricane Ian. Been running it almost non stop without any issues. Enough power to run all the essentials in my home. Just remember to pick up a quart of oil because it has to be changed at the first 25 hours.

After reviewing dozens of generators, focusing on fuel consumption, important dual fuel availability, push button startup, available wattage sufficiency for large appliances, price point, and name brand name Westinghouse, this seems to fit our needs as outlined. The built in battery charger is very easy to use and appreciated. Our only issues thus far have been the oil level dip stick seems to be awkward to screw in and the battery connections rear nut is in a very tight spot. We would certainly buy this product again, very pleased with it so far, but we have yet to test it under full capacities.

We bought this product because we live in central Florida and looking forward to an active storm season the summer. After doing extensive research on which brand/model to buy, this unit seemed to be the right choice. Looking forward to putting it to the test. Although, let's hope we don't even need it the summer. But if I do it will do the job.

Just received it and started right up with propane gas. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the enclosed oil funnel was broken up on arrival (likely cause was related to some damage to the outside of the box) and also a slight discrepancy between the "quick start guide" and the user manual. The quick start guide did not mention that the battery was not attached to cables and that the engine mount was partially blocking the ability to insert the cotter pin, as well as the battery was facing the wrong way. After following said quick steps I had to revert to the manual to remove one tire so that I could remove battery to connect the battery and reinstall the tire.

I really haven't used it yet, only to put ti together and start it up. But I don't like the design for putting the wheel on the side of the instrument panel. I had mounted the wheel and then had to take it off again in order to put the battery in. Plus it is really very tight fit to put the pin in that holds that wheel in place. I will be using this generator at our cabin in Northern Minn and will have to remove the battery every fall to keep it from freezing over the winter when the cabin is not in use. Which means the wheel has to come off every time I need to take out the battery. Not really a big problem but their must have been a better way to design that. Also I was disappointed to find that I had to actually shut the power off at the machine when I wasn't going to use it for several hours or overnight to keep from running down the battery. On the generator I had before if the machine was shut down everything was off and there was no problem with the battery being drained. Which was the main reason I wanted a remote start.

I bought this generator and it arrived early. we got it all set up and fired it up. It runs great and is very quiet compared to our old generator. It seems to start very quickly and runs smoothly even when hooked put to the refrig and freezer. I am very happy with the purchase I made.

Ran with propane for wired in home essentials after a 2 day power outage. Worked excellent for gas burner, circulator pumps, refrigerator, gas stove, and some lighting. Microwave also use but noted a significant loading. Also noted with a toaster. Coffee maker was ok.

Found broken plastic pieces at the bottom of the bag when unboxing. Added oil as per instructions. Followed instructions for running on propane and it fired up and ran just fine for approximately 5 mins. After shutting it down and attempting to restart awhile later it will only sputter (pop & ping) while backfiring. Will be contacting customer service for potential replacement.
