There were a few cool nights and everyone was coming to our house for Christmas Eve. Two days ahead, while shopping at Sam’s I decided to purchase one of these. The fact that there was a $20 discount made the purchase even easier. I bought two propane tanks and rushed home to set it under before the night set in. The assembly was straightforward and the instructions were spot on. They call the finish bronze but it is a powder coated finish in brown. Very nice looking instead of being just a stainless finish. The circular illuminated drink table glows nicely when switched on. He’s output is fantastic! After being turned on I had to lower the temperature to a minimum setting. Very comfortable sitting 8’ away from the unit. I suppose where you may set this up will have an effect on your comfort level. Our location is somewhat protected from wind. Our porch where we have using this is outside the house where two sides of the room are open to the elements.

Very chilly winter in Florida this year, have used it quite a few times already. It warms up my lanai, I love the lighted table. Got it on sale, good bang for the buck, highly recommend.

The warmth that radiants from this heater is amazing. We love to entertain and somehow even in 40 degree weather our guest find their way outside. This heater makes them warm and comfy. The lit table top is like a cherry on top!

It was larger than I expected, a few dents.

Purchased this for our screened porch. It's the perfect size, generates a decent amount of heat and the bronze/brown finish looks nice. There was minor damage to the base once we unpacked it. It doesn't appear to be shipping damage since the box and packing was not damaged so I assume the damage came from the factory. Also one of the spacer bars on the top which separates the top shield from the heating element has a loose connection on it's base and wobbles. However, it all seems to work fine and the damage is not significant enough for me to want to pursue a return and then wait for another package to be shipped. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase but I do think the quality control component of the seller needs to beef up their operations since several people on this site have noted damage upon arrival.

I was very happy with this heater when i first purchased it. It puts off an incredible amount of heat, and i love the little table. It's perfect for standing outside while the dogs are out. HOWEVER, i am disappointed in the build quality. I'm about 4-5 months into using this heater, and the shield on top and all of the hardware that secures it has begun to rust and corrode. I don't see anyone else mentioning this so I'm not sure why mine was the lucky one, but buyer beware. Sam's club provided me with a 10 dollar credit but I'm not sure it really answers the problem at hand. The hardware holding this together is cheap and is destined to fail, so be ready. Also something worth noting, i've probably used this a total of 6 full hours of run time, so I wouldn't say this is high use either.

I ordered 2. Both boxed looked fine on delivery, but the bases of both heaters had some scratches out of the box, and one of the poles that connects the base to the burner was bent out of round so that the table wouldn't fit over it and it wouldn't attach to the burner. I've tried calling the support number in the manual several times, but either get put on permahold, or sign up for a call-back that never comes. That said, the one I was able to assemble works well. Would change to 4-5 star review if I could get a part to make the other one work.
