You don’t have to touch the product with your hands and it rolls on nice and evenly. It did provide some immediate relief however it only lasted a few minutes. I feel like there’s better products out there.

It seems with the roll on you get a better, thicker application of the product as well. Love the fact that there is barely any scent. Applied and it quickly relieved the pain.

It applies very easily without feeling greasy or leaving a residue. The smell isn’t over powering like products I have used in the past. I love the relief it gives me after a long day at work. It gives instant relief every time it is applied. I would highly recommend this product!

I had felt the repercussion of my arm workouts the days before and had used this bad boy to cool the pain down. It helps when your just sore all day and want something easy to use that will ease the pain away in ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Bio freeze on a stiff neck and some sore shoulder/neck muscles and the cool menthol feeling was so refreshing! Don’t apply too much (less is best) I recommend to follow the instructions - apply a THIN layer otherwise it takes longer to dry and there will be a green layer on you.

I started using it back in college when I was doing roller derby (it helped with soreness due to lots of falling and bruises lol). In my later adult life, I'm glad to be reintroduced to this product. I'm into weight training atm and I love using this after some of my workouts when my muscles get sore and tender. Unlike other similar products, this has an enjoyable coolness that doesn't sting or burn. It's just a nice icy cooling sensation that helps alleviate temporary soreness. The only downside is the menthol that creates that cooling feeling also has a very strong smell (it's similar to the smell of chest rub you use when you have a cold). After application, when the product starts to dry, the smell does subside and I haven't found that it lingers too long on clothing. The roll-on gel continues to be my favorite form of application. It's easy to put on and you don't have to get any of the goo directly on your hands which is especially great if you're looking for something portable. I find the roller-ball applicator does a good job of actually rolling around, it doesn't get stuck or distribute the product unevenly. When the product starts getting more used up, it helps to shake the bottle a bit to get the product out of the bottom and back onto the roller. Overall, this is a 10/10 product. I absolutely recommend having it in your medicine cabinet for mild pain, muscle soreness, and sprains/strains.

Initially I thought the roller might not be as effective as a gel or lotion because it goes on thinner but it works just as good! The roller is also nice for not having to worry about accidentally rubbing product that could be left on your hands into your eyes or nose! The pain relief lasts about 4 hours for me and frees me up from being stuck on the couch with a heating pad. It does tingle a bit and has a strong mint like smell but that's pretty typical of these types of soreness relief. Good stuff!!
