I have for a number of years bought at least one, usually two, boxes of this baklava. Last year I noticed a marked deterioration in quality. The product was somewhat stale and not what it had always been. Undeterred, I bought 2 boxes again this year. Mistake! It will be my last purchase. Not only does the baklava not taste fresh, but also (perhaps in reaction to complaints about too much honey) it is almost devoid of honey. Lacking honey for moisture, the pastry dough is dry and unappetizing, not flaky at all. From being a truly excellent baklava, this product has degenerated into something barely edible. I am not sure what I will do with two boxes of the stuff. Can I choke it down, a little bit at a time? Maybe, but with no pleasure---and with anger at myself for buying after the warning signs last year. Sure, I can take it back to Sam's, and they will refund my money---and trash both boxes, including the uopened one. i deplore waste. Maybe I can find someone who would appreciate it, but the stuff is really so bad that I even feel guilty giving it away.

Absolutely wonderful! I have waited all year for this item to return. It's a wonderful Christmas present, that is, if it lasts long enough to gift! It's fresh and just the right amount of honey. I circled around and around the store looking for this item and it took two different team members assisting to finally locate it for me. I do wish the app provided locations for store items. Wish this product was offered until at least the end of February.

Tasted as if they were made in a local bakery. I would recommend! Yum!!

Sweet, has enough honey, real Baklava!

So good, plenty to share.

Such a great idea for a gift for the holidays.

Absolutely delicious. Get it every year.

Bought this twice now. So yummy and fresh. Can't keep it in the house. It keeps disappearing!

Amazing. I love the small pieces which is all I need to go with my coffee. The best I have had.
