I bought a box of Premium Baklava for Thanksgiving as an alternative to the usual pies we offer and it went so fast. All our guests wanted the Baklava. Such a hit we came back after Thanksgiving and bought two more boxes. Try it, you'll love it too.

I feel like this box is a good value considering that Baklana is a specialty item that is hard to find fresh in my area. This Baklava is a far estimation of the authentic experience. Typically honey syrup, and butter are used, whereas this representation uses palm oil, and sugar syrup. It is okay. However, nothing beats homemade if you have the time.

I was a little disappointed with this product. I expected the same quality as with the other product you used to carry. This baklava is tasty, the pieces are very small and the amount of nuts is disappointing as well. I did not find one pistachio is this baklava, but that might have been a fluke. I ordered it via pick-up. If I would have been in person, I would not have bought it.

I have for a number of years bought at least one, usually two, boxes of this baklava. Last year I noticed a marked deterioration in quality. The product was somewhat stale and not what it had always been. Undeterred, I bought 2 boxes again this year. Mistake! It will be my last purchase. Not only does the baklava not taste fresh, but also (perhaps in reaction to complaints about too much honey) it is almost devoid of honey. Lacking honey for moisture, the pastry dough is dry and unappetizing, not flaky at all. From being a truly excellent baklava, this product has degenerated into something barely edible. I am not sure what I will do with two boxes of the stuff. Can I choke it down, a little bit at a time? Maybe, but with no pleasure---and with anger at myself for buying after the warning signs last year. Sure, I can take it back to Sam's, and they will refund my money---and trash both boxes, including the uopened one. i deplore waste. Maybe I can find someone who would appreciate it, but the stuff is really so bad that I even feel guilty giving it away.
