This product will not work with HP printers that have been taken over by HP spamware/malware. Since I am in the middle of a lawsuit with HP, I am fully aware of the blockade that HP has created to rob the public on ink replacement. I have printed since 2014 on my HP printer with ink that I have refilled in my own home - now I cannot get HP brand OEM cartridges to work. This product is NOT an OEM so please do not purchase it if you have been spammed and taken over by HP.

HP sent an update to my printer that caused the HP ink that was in it to stop working, forcing the purchase of more HP ink or trashing a nice, low used printer. After purchasing the ink, I wished I hadn't. I then purchased 2 new printers from another company, and the ink for them is just over a third of HP ink. I won't be buying HP printers anymore. Some companies just get too big, and seem to forget who keeps them in business. Maybe more people will decide to send a message to HP. We wanted to use your products, but you choose ridiculous profit margins over keeping loyal, long-term customers.

Unfortunately, HP uses region locking for ink. This means that the HP printer that I bought in the Caribbean won't work with ink bought in the US without changing the printer's region code, even though it is the SAME model. Absurd, and ridiculous. I will be looking for another printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP ink cartridges always work as designed, and as promised. Unlike Microsoft, Apple and the rest of my technological devices and software, HP cartridges have NEVER caused a problem, delayed project or required me to curse like a longshoreman.

I've found the HP ink cartridges to be usually reliable, with a few exceptions when my printer insisted that a supposedly new cartridge was empty. You can't argue with a printer! I do feel that the prices are exorbitant, however. But I choose not to take the chance of buying an off-brand cartridge.

I have not used this cartridge yet. I am still using the one that came with the printer. But I have used 950XL and 951XL for years on another HP printer and found them to be more cost effective. I typically get at least 6 months or more of usage on the XL print cartridges.

HP Ink Quality has Diminished, The blank ink cartridge I recently purchased causes the ink to bleed on the paper, the cyan cartridge is plugged up and multiple attempts to clean the heads have not worked so I have no blue, HP printers and ink have always been top quality and reliable but for the cost of ink I expect what I pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on-line because my printer said it would not print until the print cartridge was replaced. The printer indicated the other ink colors were low but still working. I installed the new cartridge and the printer would not print because it said another color was now out (without a single page being printed). I ordered that color and installed it. Now it says another color is out. I have been without a printer for over a month.

HP makes superior products, and its ink cartridges are no exception. The one thing I would like to report is that I first ordered this cartridge through Amazon only to learn later that, although it claimed to be an Amazon Prime product, I wouldn't get it for at least a week. Since I needed the black-ink cartridge ASAP, I went to the Walmart site and discovered that I could get the product in two days...and I did. Thank you!
