[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The big features that I have loved about this dishwasher and that makes me write this review and recommend this dishwasher are the Flexible 3nd rack really helps when we have more of the big or oversized utensils. The linear wash system provides very good cleaning efficiency and the results are to be experienced. This coupled with the zone and speed booster helps with our typical greasy and sticky pans. The sanitizer mode will be of importance for families with infants and kids at home. The half load option (lower rack only) and Express Cycle – this solved the dilemma of procrastination of using the dishwasher v. doing the quick pans on you own. The express cycle is a very good features for small families. In addition to these it offers 7 different wash cycles and 8 options for your varied needs. The first load that we put this dishwasher to action, was a surprise to us. As we put the wash cycle into motion there was no audible kick start and the entire cycle was real quiet, to the extent we had to put our ears to the door to confirm that it was working. This singular quiet feature made us fall in love with it with this dishwasher Other noteworthy features like the adjustable tines for the odd shaped ones, auto release door for better drying efficiencies especially for plastic ware will be of interest to many differing users. The one I really like is the fingerprint resistant Overall, it’s a great choice of top panel in a dishwasher. This one makes your decision easier, quietly!

The wash cycle was real quiet, to the extent I had to put an ear to the door to confirm that it was ON. Fell in love with it with that. We chose this model based on 4-5 key features. These ones really help us manage specific needs: o Flexible 3nd rack – this one really helps when the load consists of more than fair share of big or oversized pots and pans o Zone booster: Helps when you have over greasy or dirty pans o Linear wash system provides very good cleaning efficiency and the results are to be experienced. Coupled with the zone and speed booster, it offers great washing efficiencies o Sanitizer - an important feature for germaphobes and for ones who have small children at home o Half load option (lower rack only) and Express Cycle – this solved our challenge of having too little dishes for a full cycle of many a night. This coupled with the express cycle are very good features for small families. In addition to these it offers 7 different wash cycles and 8 options for your varied needs. A bunch of small nifty ones features which others may also like the adjustable tines for the odd shaped ones, auto release door for better drying efficiencies especially for plastic ware. The finger print resistant feature may look fancy, but besides refrigerator, the dishwasher is the perfect appliance to have it. To sum it up, if you are looking for a good top panel touch variant in a dishwasher, this one makes your decision easier, quietly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really pleased with all my Samsung products, especially the washer. Everything comes out spotless and dry. I love that it has a mobile app and that the door pops open when the cycle is finishing.

Had to have it repaired 2 months in. The Bar stuck in the back and dished at the front were not being washed. Just scheduled second repair at 9 months. It isn't draining. It does clean well when its working. The top rack is awkward and could use a little redesign as the middle row has its prongs set too wide for most of my top row items.

i love this dishwasher because it is super quiet and love the black stainless steel no fingerprint feature as well. unfortunately, it is chipping at the control section. this dishwasher is wiped down only with a small amount of soap and water using a microfiber cloth. it's sad that it's only a year old and this is happening to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll first start off by saying that our original dishwasher (DW) was delivered with a cosmetic indentation in the door. It didn't affect the performance but I only mention it because Samsung customer service agreed to replace the unit as the driver reported it to them. Kudos to them! Now let me begin with how super quiet and feature loaded this dishwasher is! We are replacing a DW that was a top of the line brand known for low decibel, quiet dishwashers. Let me tell you that this Samsung 9950 DW is even more quiet, in fact, with the exception of when it goes through its drain cycles you may hear the draining sound via the sink, and the time remaining display (which I will address later), you can't tell this DW is running! The control panel: is concealed under the counter overhang and it offers various cycles to choose from: Auto, Normal, Heavy, Delicate, Express, and Rinse only. I've only used the auto, normal and heavy cycles, in this short usage time and would expect I would find use for the express during a party or family gathering. The cycle time adjusts accordingly based on the amount of wash time needed. Some of the unique features that differentiate the Samsung DW are the lower rack and cycle enhancement options. You can select "lower rack" and wash only a small load in the lower rack, or you can select "zone booster" to wash heavily soiled items like pots or pans. The Racks: The 3rd rack is a goof d option as it allows a place for the large utensils and extra silverware. The 2nd rack can be raised or lowered which is helpful if larger items/pans are going on the bottom rack. Lastly, the smart control allows you to monitor and control the DW remotely from your mobile phone or tablet, seeing what stage the cycle is in the wash process. I have all of my Samsung appliances, devices, and TVs connected via the SmartThings app and if you are like me being a tech person, this enables you to view and control them in one central place. Oh, I forgot, the time remaining display, as most people will refer to it as, displays information about the current cycle, most notably the cycle time, remaining time, and any delay start settings (which I haven't used yet). I have included a picture of the outside of my DW where you can see in the upper right corner the time remaining in the cycle. Overall, we like this Samsung DW80R9950US dishwasher and are glad that we upgraded. We have the stainless steel version, which does show some finger prints but wipes clean.

Worked well until it decided not to work at all. It worked fine for 5 years. Then all of a sudden it will not start a cycle. Had an appliance repair person check it out and couldn't find anything wrong with any tested part and deduced it to be a bad control panel with costs $340 plus another $175 to install it. Such a bummer a $1200 dishwasher won't last longer than 5 yrs. I would not recommend buying a Samsung dishwasher. Model # dw80r9950us

after only having for a few months, the painted portion is already peeling, and it looks terrible now. it washea well, but now it looks cheap. i shouldn't have wasted my money on it, hopefully the rest of my samsung products don't follow suit, not sure i'll buy anymore of their major appliances, too bad they already got my money for the dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is extremely quiet and performs very well on the quick (1 hour wash). The loudest part of the process is the water draining into the garbage disposal. Initially we did have trouble with the bottom rack catching the side seal, but Samsung came out to replace the basket and the seal. The regular wash is nearly two hours. We find that the dishes come out clean on the quick cycle. The top rack is for meticulously placing silverware, which we do not do, it might have been better to allow the full shelf to drop down to allow bigger utensils (like spatulas). Our last dishwasher made it 18 years and we are hoping to get at least half that time out of this dishwasher.
