My Michelin tires are ...

My Michelin tires are installed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Snow Traction off and on road has been very good. We go snowmobiling a lot during the winter and have not had any problems getting around. I have chains I carry in my vehicle just in case but have never had a need to use them. That has not been the case with other tires I have had. Mud traction is not as good, but that would be expected with this type of tire. The more aggressive tread is ok but this is not a mud tire. On dirt roads with wet muddy conditions they still have decent traction and handling. Highway ride is excellent. I notice a little noise at freeway speeds but it is not annoying. The noise level is a little higher on concrete vs asphalt but that is the case with most tires I have run. In the rain and going through shallow standing water on the roads I have not had problems with hydro planning, water seems to disperse quickly. I have approximately 30k miles on these tires and they still have plenty of tread on them. My other SUV I have Michelin LTX on it and they went 85,000 miles and they were just barely to the tread bars. In comparison these (AT2) vs (LTX) Michelin tires I like both of them. The (AT2) are better off road. This is the first I have tried the (AT2) but it appears the mileage might be similar for tire wear. The tire is tough; I have not had any problems off road with tire failure. I would buy these tires again. I have not had balancing problems with these tires or any Michelin tires I own. But other top tire brands that I have had, I have problems with tire balance. They are more expensive at first over other tires but with the longer tire wear I believe it evens out at a cost per mile. I have not had problems with the tires so I have no comment on warranty issues and customer service.

Extremely Great Wear and Good Ride

We have been very happy with these tires on our Ford F-150 King Ranch. They ride very nice and provide great traction in the snow and ice. We were able to get over 62,000 miles over a 5 year period on our last set and just replaced them with a new set for this winter. We used them off rode 20% of the time, 80% on the highway. Even though we lived in AZ for over 4 years, they survived the extreme heat. We were prompt on getting them rotated every 5000 miles and kept the alignment good on the truck. Highly recommend these tires over other competitor's which did not last over 30,000 miles on 3 different vehicles with similar mileage warranty.

Michelin A/T2

Bought the A/T2 two months ago to replace the OEM Goodyear Adventurer. I was really looking forward to the change. I've been back to the dealer twice. First time for balance and aweful noise. The second time to try to minimize a distracting road noise. I wish I had bought the Defenders rather than be swayed by the dealer. I have about 750 miles on them and given the longevity of tread life, I guess I'm stuck with an aggravating noise for the next several years. I've been buying tires for over 50 years, with 80 to 90% being Michelin. These are my first disappointing set.

This tire exceeds my ...

This tire exceeds my expectations not only in performance, but in valu as well. The tread allows my truck to handle better in steering, braking, and comfort. I highly recommend this tire series for all SUV owners who demand superior off and on road handling.

My125,000 Mile Tires

I bought a set of four Michelin LX 2 Tires nearly 125,000 miles ago. It is now time to replace them. My FORD Ranger will have 300,000 miles on it when I put on the new tires. Where can I receive the best service and price for these new tires? Ted Grote 'Mr. Food'

Typical Michelin

And by typical, I mean awesome! I only have about 500 miles on them so far, but they've been great. We got the first snowfall of the season literally while I was getting these tires installed. They have been great in the snow and great on dry pavement. They behave predictably. They are slightly louder than my OEM tires, but I expected that with an AT tire. I bought these after having 2 sets of the original LTX AT's years back. Hopefully these hold up as well as those did!

Only tire I will use on our 2004 Suburban.

I purchased these tires in July 2010 and have run well over 100,000 miles while replacing only one blown out tire due to running over a 12" screwdriver. We pull a 35'travel trailer and have travelled up and down the west coast and all over the midwest. In the 100,000 miles these tires have exceeded my expectations in rain, snow, sand and everyday commute. 7 years later, the sidewalls are beginning to show weathering cracks form the intense desert sun.

Poor Longevity

These came on my brand new 2020 F350 DRW with the 17" wheels, I have bald tires in the rear at 4 months and 38k miles. VERY disappointed. I previously had these same tires on my 2017 F350 in the 20" setup, again, brand new truck right of the lot, I was getting an average of 76k miles out of 3 different sets, I couldn't have been happier with them; but this mess that I'm in right now isn't right, 38k miles in 4 months!

Best Tire for Big Trucks

The LTX A/T2 not only makes my Tundra look great but it is a great ride on the highway and backroads. I replaced my original Michelins with this all-terrain tire. It is durable, provides a smooth ride, has excellent traction, and can be driven anywhere. My wife wants to take the truck on all our trips now. It's the only ride where she has been able to take a nap in a vehicle.

It's mental comfort, ...

It's mental comfort, which my LTX A/T provide me when my son is heading up the pass in the SUV for a day of skiing. That makes me plan to eventually replace them with the LTX A/T2. They've kept him on the road while the shoulders are cluttered with less fortunate vehicles equipt with inferior tires.
