Although this is my first time having to put these kind of tires on any vehicle, I must say that they are great, I noticed a great improvement as soon as I took it on the highway, in my industry of driving in all sorts of climate I depend on tires the most, not that I am looking forward to winter but I can't wait to see how these great Michelin LTX A/T 2 do! Hope never to be disappointed cause I have two more vehicles to buy them for??!

I bought the LTXA/T2 tires for my Jeep because in Montana we have extremes of weather that require a superior tire. At Christmas time we drive into the mountains close to town and find ourselves on roads that vary from dry to ice to snow packed to deep snow. My Michelin tires do the job for those varied conditions. In the summer our weather can get up to 100 degrees and in that weather we may end up pulling our camper over a steep mountain pass as we head to a lake camp site. Having Michelin tires gives me a sense of security that is much appreciated. We don't put a lot of miles on our tires each year but the miles we do drive need a good tire such as the LTXA/T2.

I had my 1st set of ATX AT/2 265R75-16E installed in 2016 on my Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax before leaving for Alaska for a 3 month trip. I towed a 5th wheel, loaded at 14,000 lbs, to and back from Alaska, then tow it all over the United States. this original set went 66,000 miles with a little tread still on them. They are quiet at highway speeds, got me everywhere off-road I wanted to go, and are awesome on snow in my northern Michigan winters. Just replaced them with an identical new set yesterday, 7-27-2021. Am looking forward to another 5 years and 60,000+ miles with these tires.

I researched different tires for my Trailblazer and wanted tires good in snow and gravel/sand for boat launching. I have not been disappointed. I am especially amazed at how they function in snow, and seem to grip quite well even on ice. I cannot comment on wear as I've had them just 10,000 miles so far, but they seem to be wearing reasonably.

MICHELIN® LTX® A/T2 - 20,000 miles of highway driving on a 60,000 mile tire and the tire is down to 6/32" from 16.5/32" or worn to a level of greater than 40,000 miles. I slid down a 2% incline on snow, made me check my tires. SUPRISE! I thought Michelin was a good tire, it came on my 2015 Silverado 2500. This is the second time Michelin has failed. Put Michelins on the my 2002 Sierra and only got about 40,000 on those. Go figure Michelin?

The LTX A/T2 on my tow vehicle has a more comfortable ride than any of the other 3 brands that I've used. The one difference I noticed is straight-line tracking. The other tires have stiffer side walls resulting in a rougher ride but seem to track a bit better. After some miles I adjusted to this difference and much prefer the improved ride.

LTX AT 2 are very quiet tires, very minimal road noise, very aggressive in snow, they destroy water on the highway, if your following me at 65 in the rain you better have a new set of wipper blades. They disperse rain like crazy, you will not hydroplane you will feel confident.

I've had good and bad luck with tires over the years, not discriminate to brand. But Michelin & Me got a good thing going! Purchased the A/T 2s in Nov.'07 for my 2005 Lariat. Driven in all weather from Florida (rain) to N.Dakota(snow) to Calli(mud/snow). I've used the tires for the purpose intended & have had great success. With "NORMAL" driving habits, just turned 80K in Sept. of this yr. These tires were not cheap,but It's been $$$ back in my pocket since 40-50K. My intent was to get as much wear as possible out of them. Rotate every 5K (-ish), and spin balance every 10K. I will definitely re-shoe with the A/T2s. I do see very slight cracking from age, but still have plenty of tread left. I'm good for another 10K, but watch them closely now & wont go any further than that. Pros: -handle & brake well on wet hwy -comfortable ride -they dont throw rocks -roll quiet down the hwy Cons: -no promotion for this tire. I'm thinkin' it's price. Dealers are more motivated to sell quantity over quality. -tires are rated for 80psig...ride's a little rough. Dropped to 68psig. Smoother ride without compromise in performance. That's my review. I put a set of the AT2 on my GMC Yukon XL Denali back in June of 2008 at 62,000 miles. I now have 168,000 miles on my vehicle and there is still significant tread left! I had a set of the MS as well on my last vehicle, with was a Tahoe, and had over a 100,000 on them and they still had significant tread left on them. I've had horrible experiences with other brands (short life span and were absolutely noisy) and have to say that I'll probably always put Michelins on my vehicles. Class act company and a superior product.

I have had 5 sets of these tires over the past 9 years, I have no complaints, just went through an Up State New York Winter last year and had no issues. Current set has 97,000 miles. I average about 95,000-100,000 miles per set with about 80% Highway use. I will be replacing very soon account of winter getting close.
