[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure was about the only thing I could hold down while on Tarceva. Once I was off of that drug I still drank 1/4 cup each morning. I've since upped that to 1/2 cup at breakfast and 1/2 cup at dinner. I added the dinner drink because my G.P. thought it might help me gain some much needed weight. For me, maintaining a good weight has been hard during this cancer journey.

Often times he does not have the appetite to eat solid food and Ensure gives him the energy and sustenance that his body needs. It is a complete meal because it gives him the stamina even without eating the regular meals. Likewise, the whole family drink it as well to give us the nutrients and supplements we need everyday.

L., a veteran,an above the knee amputee, suffers from copd and other serious illnesses and is on 24/7 oxygen. My sister and myself constantly worry about him not being able to eat very much. About 2 years ago he began to drink Ensure daily and it has really been a lifesaver.
