It gives me the energy I need to get started and help the person I live with get dressed, Once downstairs, I have the energy to cook a full breakfast for both of us , get the newspaper and water the plants outside. I am 82 years old and my younger friends are amazed at how much I can accomplish.. Without Ensure, I'd be another old lady feeling sorry for myself. Thanks for making my life so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought Ensure back in 2004, when I was going thru Chemo, since I didn't have much of appetite and needed the nutrients that I was lacking, then it was my main meals. Now, been drinking it to give me energy and gain weight. Although I see that I should be drinking the Ensure Plus, which hope to purchase soon!! Have tried the flavors of vanilla; chocolate and strawberry- but my favorite is the vanilla, even though I'm a chocolate fan. I recommend Ensure to those that need the extra nutrients mainly the protein!!

I enjoy the vanilla flavor and put it in my morning cereal along with blueberries, strawberries and bananas. You don't have to add sugar because the taste is sweet. I have gotten so used to this, when I run out of ensure my cereal tastes somewhat flat. When I go to buy ensure, and someone else is looking to buy it, I mention about putting it in my cereal and they always say "what a good idea, I'll try it". I usually drink one a day.

I have over 20+ medical conditions and 20+ medications to take daily, including an oral chemotherapy, so I have days were food is the last thing on my mind. I have tried the Butter Pecan and Strawberry Ensure, and they are so delicious I have a hard time passing on a quick ice cold shake.
