I started sipping Original Vanilla Ensure day by day and started getting my strength back and gaining weight. If it hadn't been for Ensure I don't know what would've happened. I have kept drinking Ensure over the many years to supplement my diet as I never fully recovered from my condition. It still helps me everyday. If you have lost weight and are very ill with any type of stomach/colitis then this is a must have staple in your diet. It has no lactose either if you are sensitive. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing this review for my mother who is 87 years old. She wasn't eating and went from 158 lbs to 108 lbs so her Dr recommended ensure. She was to drink 2 a day, well those 2 became 5 to 6 of ensure plus as that is what we started with. I have since switched her to original and she is still drinking 5 to 6 a day. She loves them. She is worried when she goes to her Dr she is going to take them away, but I being her daughter will still let her drink at least 2 a day. I am the one that buys them and it is quite a cost but she is my mom and i will get it for her some how. Thank you Donna

Back in February, I saw my doctor and she was very worried about my weight. I told her what was happening and she gave me some Ensure to try. Well it was just wonderful. I LOVE the taste of it and more importantly, I was able to fully digest it. I'm SO happy this product is around!!!

Having Ensure as an option greatly improves my daily life because I can just grab it and go without much worry about how it will affect my stomach. The strawberry is my favorite but I've tried the chocolate and butter pecan and like them as well!

I have recovered and regained the lost weight. At 88 years of age, I am able to garden, maintain my lawn and many other chores. I still drink one several times each week after doing the above chores.
