It was pretty easy to put together once we figured out where the symbols were. The only issue that came up was one of the pieces was broken, so we will have to take it apart half way to put the new part in when we get it. We really needed it and wanted to go ahead and put together since we had started. It seems like it will be a sturdy piece. I gave this a 4 star rating because of the broken piece, but when I got to the review I noticed it was changed to a 5 star. Hmmm!

We bought this to replace another large storage box we bought that had doors on it to store our patio cushions.....however the wind would blow rain water in through the doors and get cushions wet (in old unit). This unit is sturdy, easy to operate lid and was easy to assemble. We used a carabiner clip to ensure lid stays closed. Cushions stay dry......win-win!!!

Very sturdy storage box. My husband put bottom on “upside down.” It bulged out. Called 1-800 number and representative quickly told him to turn bottom piece over. Lol. Guess more than one call came in on that! Nice as beside outside table and since so high it makes a great serving station. We’d definitely purchase again.

We are happy with the purchase because it seems like it is good quality and big like we wanted! However, the back two screws that are used to screw the hinges into the top of the box, went right through box which we were not very pleased with. We used the screws that were instructed for that portion of the box and still had this mishap.

This is the second Keter deck box that I purchased. Very easy to assemble. Had to trim some of the molded plastic to get the holes to align. Would have been easier to assemble with a second person to hold parts but very doable with only one person. Good quality. I have recommended Keter deck boxes to friends and family members and they too are very pleased with the product.

Have had the smaller size for at least five years. Great for storing lounge/chair cushions and things like bird seed in the summer. Got the large one last month for storing garden tools, plant supports, etc., thus avoiding the back and forth trips to the garage. Highly recommend.

Very nice storage box for the price and easily assembled. Two people are recommended but I am 71 and did it by myself easily. Closes securely and keeps contents dry. No assembly instructions were included but you can download them from Keter’s website.

Best deck box by far. Love the Keter brand. Easy to assemble and price was so much lower than the exact box at all other stores and online retailers. I paid $149.00 and the lowest one on other sites ranged from $289.00 on up to $500.00. Very well made. I’m waiting to get another one when they are back in stock.

Everything was easy to assemble. My only gripe is the screws provided just screw into pre-drilled plastic holes. Several screws easily stripped the holes into which they were screwed. I definitely feel for something of this heft that there should have been threaded metal receptacles installed into the plastic for metal screws to avoid stripping. I'm a bit worried how well this will hold up with the screws just holding only plastic right now.

I bought this over a month ago, after I bought an outdoor sectional. I wanted to protect our cushions from the elements and our outdoor cats (so we put away the cushions after each use). I am 5'4" and I can reach the bottom but someone a bit shorter may have difficulties.
