We are happy with the purchase because it seems like it is good quality and big like we wanted! However, the back two screws that are used to screw the hinges into the top of the box, went right through box which we were not very pleased with. We used the screws that were instructed for that portion of the box and still had this mishap.

Have had the smaller size for at least five years. Great for storing lounge/chair cushions and things like bird seed in the summer. Got the large one last month for storing garden tools, plant supports, etc., thus avoiding the back and forth trips to the garage. Highly recommend.

This is my second purchase of this box. I bought one last fall to store some of my outdoor cushions. I put them in in late fall thinking maybe it would keep them half decent at least. The box sat on my deck in the elements with snow on top, crazy rain and wind. I did not have high hopes when I opened the box this spring but they were dry, non smelly and had no bugs...spiders in the box. I couldn’t be happier. Like I said I had no smell at all and no leaking. Also I put this together myself in the garage with minimal effort...just snap together pieces and use the screws to secure. I highly recommend if you need storage for all those outdoor cushion when not in use.

Great purchase so far! It has held up well to our Minnesota weather this summer. We use it for pool floats. It is large enough for most of our floats. I don’t see spiderwebs or spiders, so it seems like it has a pretty tight seal. No water has gotten in either. The cover is nice and sturdy. It opens and closes easily & seals well.

This box is very big. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is in no way flimsy like many other boxes I've seen during my search. It is plastic. But, it was designed, engineered and formed in a way that makes it very sturdy once constructed. The pieces snap together like a puzzle. I think that this is the highest quality you can find for the price. I was looking for something to store all of my patio cushions and stuff on and around my deck. If you want something bigger, you might as well get a small shed or something. It looks good and is well constructed. Assembly is simple and easy. It blends in well with the colors and form of my house, deck, and shed. I wasn't sure which would be better, so I bought both this and the 130 gallon Keter deck box. They are both nice, but this one is better. In retrospect I'd just buy two of these, although I do wish that this one was as wide as the 130 gallon box. The 130 gallon box is nice if you also want to use it as a sitting bench. The 230 gallon box is sturdy enough, but too big to use as a seat. I have put both boxes to good use and I think that they were a good purchase and value.

I bought one of these for outdoor pool storage and was so pleased that I bought four more for grill implements, toys, balls, pool chemicals, floats. They are easy to put together and are very tough. They double as nice benches (150) gal and the 230 gal serves as a nice serving table. Great product and reasonable price. They really made my pool area neater. I could even see using these inside as an oversized toy box.

We were sent a damaged deck box that looks like it was a returned item as it was broken and missing parts...and the box was open when we received it....when I went to reorder they did not have the item in stock so I had to pay $60 more on another site to get the same box.....we have had a lot of items shipped from Sam's Club but to receive an open damaged and already returned item was extremely disappointing

We purchased the chests a month ago. They arrived on time and the boxes were in outstanding condition. (We ordered two). The photo instruction sheet was outstanding and easy to follow. We have had several rain showers since getting these set up and they have kept our cushions dry. We agree with a previous reviewer who indicated that this makes a great serving table.

Very solid for a plastic deck box. The cover fits tightly and after 3 separate torrential downpours, my cushions were dry as a bone. Pleasantly surprised at the roominess inside. I have 7 sets of deep seating cushions and get them all in! It was fairly easy to assemble; would suggest to have a second pair of hands to help.

So far so good. Assembled yesterday. Keter's plastic molds need attention. There was so much flash that the main tool for assembly became an x-acto knife rather than the screwdriver pictured on the instructions. There is apparently no flash removal process followed by their quality assurance department. Otherwise it went together without a hitch - the instructions - without words and only pictures - actually worked well. We'll see what happens during the first storm, but it looks pretty sturdy and ship shape.
