Great sausage

We've always liked Jimmy Dean Regular Premium Pork Sausage. The tube makes it easy to cut in patties and just cook them in a skillet. The flavor isn't overly strong but has a good burst of sausage flavor that combines well with other foods. It also cooks up easy with many casseroles. The packaging keeps the pork fresh until use.

Love this with our low-carb “egg roll in a bowl”. I make this for family once a week. In a fry pan, brown it, drain oi, make a “hole” and scramble cook 3-4 eggs. Turn heat off.l. In a separate Dutch over sized pot, I saute (med/low heat) Onions, garlic, red pep flakes, black pepper, and add ginger, dry mustard, and soy sauce to taste. Then put a Sams Club sized big bag cole slaw mix in the Dutch oven-sized pot, and let the mix “cook down” and soften. Then a I stir In the browned sausage and eggs. Mix in some sriracha sauce!! And serve!

Jimmy Dean Sausages are the best tasting, less greasy sausage. Makes wonderful gravy, very tasty in stuffing, and does not turn it greasy, also has the sage flavor without adding more. The kids love it for breakfast and to snack on if there is any left. Bought many different ones including the store prepared. All too greasy. Why pay for something you throw out!

I purchased this Jimmy Dean sausage and divide it into thirds and place into gallon baggies. I keep two in the freezer and one in the fridge. Jimmy Dean sausage taste great and the regular spice is not too hot for those the family that like it mild. Great product at a great price.

Jimmy Dean regular is my go to sausage for biscuits and gravy and it is a whole family favorite. I have not found another sausage that is so rich in flavor and does not need anything extra added. I can pull out Jimmy Deans and breakfast (or dinner) is ready within 30 minutes. The sausage browns up beautiful and holds the gravy like a pro. If you like biscuits and gravy this should be your go to sausage.

My last two purchases have tasted weird. There has been a significant amount of water in the pan and no fat. The meat does not crumble but, turns to mush. It has white bits throughtout it. The most recent purchase had to be thrown away because it smelled like rotten meat. Has Tyson changed the formula or put additives in it?

I am happy with the sausage but would like to have a choice like "hot" or "sage".

I buy this sausage on repeat, it’s great everytime!
