Bought this for my aunt who didn't have anything like this. She made a pot roast and raved about it. I have two like this and love them both. Heavy pot to withstand long slow cooking imparts awesome flavors. Beautiful and extremely easy to clean up. I this one cleans easier than the LeCreuset I paid $240 for. Great value. Thank you.

Dutch Ovens are the best pot in your kitchen and it often becomes a family heirloom. I purchase this Dutch Oven in Teal Blue and it is a beautiful as the picture. This oven was a gift to someone new to cooking. The wonderful things people discovered while staying at home…”Cooking you say…what is that?” One meal out of the Dutch Oven and suddenly they’re a Chef…. funny what an oven will do. It currently gets used every Sunday and I get to hear all about the tender roast, the moist chicken, spare ribs, etc. For those buying the Instant Pot great appliance (I recently purchased) HOWEVER the Dutch provides the same tenderness and the overall cooking times are the same. You can also open it if you want add seasoning, check it see if you need to add more time or not, and it can be opened right away. The only time I would not recommend a Dutch oven is if you can not lift beyond 10lbs from the oven and I would caution seniors to get a smaller one due to the weight. It also gets EXTREMLY Hot so be cautious. Other than that I absolutely love my Dutch oven and as for the cast iron skillet...its not a myth cast iron skillets are the best skillet you will ever buy.

I have never baked bread in my life but decided to give it a shot. There is a viral cheese bread recipe that I wanted to try and since it was on sale, I went ahead and purchased the Tramontina bread Dutch oven. I also purchased this 7-qt Tramontina Dutch oven because the set is so beautiful. My husband kept asking me over and over again, you didn't use a package for this? No, no I did not. I made it from scratch with my own two hands! I was so inspired, I decided to make cioppino (seafood soup) to go with the cheesy garlic bread. So I also purchased this 7-quart Dutch oven. (The cranberry and gold combination are stunning!) HE WENT CRAZY!! I have made so many wonderful dishes (including the fabulous potato leek soup pictured below) thanks to these two beautiful Dutch ovens. They are gorgeous, elegant, easy to use and clean up very well. I can't wait to make more recipes!!

Very well packed for surviving shipment during a peak shipping season. Good instructions but they're on the box flap & not in an enclosed "user manual." Although the Dutch Oven is well-enameled, be sure to read the comments about seasoning the non-enameled mating surfaces of the pot & lid (not news to regular cast-iron users). There's nothing magic in how well it works for slow cooking but that may be great news to new cast-iron users. My wife is thrilled with the form & fit of the 2 castings and the great look of the product. We couldn't be more pleased with the purchase, careful packaging & speed of delivey!

I haven't stopped using this Dutch oven since I purchased it. Why pay for an expensive brand hundreds of dollars when this little beauty looks and functions just as well. I have baked bread in it at 450 degrees daily along with cooking soups on a gas burner. It still looks brand new. I got the purple colored one and have received loads of compliments from friends and relatives during the Christmas season. I highly recommend this project.

I bought this dutch oven because it was enamelled. I have two others and I will use this in place of the non-enamelled one that I have which I still use. I will use this for bread, soups, stews, slow baking, etc. I find that I use dutch ovens more often in place of my oven and slow cooker. I recently made a beef stew using a Southern Living recipe which closely matched what I had at the family table when I was much younger and was happy with the results. I just washed it and seasoned the rims on the oven and lid and touch it up after using it.

I have used this for several cooking methods and have been very pleased. I have been wanting an item that I can use that would go from the cooktop to the oven easily and this did just that! It was a simple clean and the color stayed beautiful. Very happy with this purchase

I love, love this dutch oven. I have purchased multiple times, one as a wedding present, a red one and gave it to my son because he wanted it, purchased a green one and gave it to my daughter, Mines is larger and prettier and I am not giving it away.

I recently purchased 3 of these and sent them as gifts as the price was better then when I bought mine. A enameled cast iron Dutch oven is a must have in your kitchen. It cooks well and is very versatile. I gave it 4/5 stars because you have to be careful not to chip it and it’s heavy empty. I have arthritis so I have to be extremely careful.

Love the size of this dutch oven for a great price. A little disappointed in the color. The purple is more of a burgundy. The color is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Still beautiful but not what I thought I was purchasing. This was a gift for someone.
