poor quality nothing but issues
have had ours for awhile and has been nothing but problems. all the knobs break on a regular basis. middle burner is almost none functioning, finish scratches extremely easy, samsung badging has fallen off and no read SUNG. oven temps are off by 25 degrees. only thing that i can say wokred well is the self cleaning feature and timer. we have a fridge, dishwasher and micro all other appliance have givin isues except the microwave. will not be a returning customer at this point

Smart Control useless
Only complaint is about the Smart Control—anytime needed to use or conveniently preheat and send from phone ahead of arriving at home, FAIL FAIL FAIL. Have to push “Smart Control” on the stove top to turn it on like every single time for some reason it disables after every use back to default. Supposed to think ahead of the day and turn it on every morning before leaving house or planning to take advantage of the “Smart Control.”

Awful touch screen and functions
Got this oven a couple months ago. Works fine but the control panel is not user friendly at all, 0 intuitive. It’s a touch screen and some touch “buttons” have 2 functions whether you touch long or touch of a short time. The functions are not all labeled. There’s no up or down for the temperature setting. If I set it to a temp and want to turn it up higher later on, I’m not sure how to do that other than turn off and start over but writing the temp manually on the number keyboard. Why is there a keyboard? Just arrows up and down would be fine, would add space for other functions that no one can find, like clock. I had to google how to change the clock for daylight savings time and it was not obvious at all with the long of short touch which works sparingly depending on how you touch. I’m disappointed and regret picking Samsung for my new oven. I assume all Samsung range control panels are this annoying. Other than not having convection, my old 20yr oven was better and had obvious functions and buttons that anyone can understand and press easily without it feeling like it’s breaking. I said it worked fine before but it makes a clicking sound when the oven heating up and holding a temp; which apparently is normal. I Just feel like things are going to break on this thing any minute. Also, the song it plays when the timer rings and a temperature is reached is loud, too long, and annoying. What was wrong with a couple beeps? I don’t recommend buying this range. I’m not posting this bad review out of spite, I just hope manufacturers can think of users while designing these things because this is awful ergonomic design.

Dont do it! This stove is a fire hazard. you can have the burner on the lowest setting possible and its boiling over. There is no regulation of stovetop temp. it is just very high! The oven doesnt maintain temp very well either, usually alot lower than you set it at. The first one i got had to be sent back because smoke was rolling out of the unit when i plugged it in and turned the oven on as it says to do for a rest. It wasnt coming out of thr oven. It was coming out of the back of the unit. It took Samsung many months to call me to let me know someone was coming to take a look. i had already brought it back to the store and got a new one.

Sometimes second is better than first
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model to replace an older Samsung that was similar but had a warming drawer. The first model we received we had to immediately send back because it made a buzzing sound behind the controls. This happened shortly after using it and then early the next day. The replacement unit has not had any issues. I tried to adjust the settings of the range from the mobile app but it is pretty limited. The one item I wanted to see on the app is the ability to change the volume of the notifications on the range. That is not possible.
