The first night we slept on the new Stearns and Foster mattress I slept all night long for the first time in a long time! My husband loves a firm mattress and I like a softer feel. We tested this bed out in a retail store and my wife said that this was the one. I love how S&F doesn't make the item until you order it, and it hasn't been sitting in some warehouse for a year. My wife thinks it's a little more firm than the one we tried at the store, but she has zero back pain, sleeps completely through the night, and loves this mattress. Me, I could sleep on a rock & be just fine, but even I have to admit, this thing feels pretty stinkin awesome. It's definitely better than the foam one and holds up nicely with activity like folding it up for watching TV. Yeah, it was expensive, but I now have a very happy wife so it's a bargain.

I have tried several of Sterns and Foster mattresses sets and within 3yearsc they tend to sagg in the middle and bulge out on the sides . The warranty is strick depth of sagg must be a certain depth with no stains on the mattress or they will not honor the warranty and you have to take photos of the mattress and send them for review. The whole process may take months before you are notified whether they will replace your mattress. Save your money You can feel lumps in the mattress hard to get a good night sleep on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the finish quality is not what we expected. We have been had S&F mattresses for many, many years; this one is our third. While the comfort is as expected, numerous clearly visible threads were left hanging during the manufacturing process. While this does not affect comfort, it does make us question whether there was less attention to detail for those parts of the mattress not visible. It also affects our image of S&F and gives the impression this mattress is not worthy of the phrase "Lux Estate." My advice to S&F would be, details matter.

This mattress is so comfortable I fall asleep so fast and I wake up pain free. No hip or shoulder pain. Love my new bed. So glad we made the investment.

I just purchased an SF through mattress firm. I am so disappointed, especially for the high cost. I struggle with back pain, and this mattress sinks in the middle. My husband and I feel ourselves rolling into the center. This should provide far more support than it does.
