I started taking this 10+ years ago when my mother's doctor told her to take it to slow the progression of her age related macular degeneration. My online research found that these ingredients can make a real difference in the health of a persons eyes. I am 78 years old and I do have cataracts, but they are tiny and have not increased since they started. My ophthalmologist says my eye health is "awesome" and I may never need cataract surgery, no sign of macular degeneration, or any other eye issues. recently when I looked at this product at Sam's I found the formula I had changed. I hope I will be able to get this version in the future.

Eye health is sometimes overlooked until something starts to go wrong. I have been taking over the counter vitamins for my eyes for more than 10 years to help prevent problems. My eye doctor approves my action in this regard. Also, key ingredients are inside this product at a reasonable price. This is important to me as a senior woman.

I take this to prevent macula degeneration. However, this is one of those supplements I cannot tell if it is helping; as such I only take it only four times a week. I do recommend that cotton be added to the inside of the bottle. These came with no packing materials in the box, and you can hear the pills rattling around in the bottle which tells anyone handling them that medications are in the box.

My Optometrist (eye doctor) tells me how nice my eyes look. And I am old: 67. I do not have any problems except my close-up vision which in "normal". I really believe it is because I have been eating this product for 10 or 20 years now. I think it is worth every penny.
